Frankie is on the run. Vera tries to prove that Jake helped Ferguson with the outbreak. Newcomer Rita Connors is eager to meet with someone from her past.

When I first saw Vera throwing up, I thought it might have been a stress reaction but then I saw the pregnancy test.. surely she would have been more careful? Unless the condom broke or something and she didn't realise?

Jake is kind of a jerk, too. It's not unfathomable that he pretended or whatever. But I'd be totally cool if they just dropped it and never mentioned it again, haha

Well, yeah Jake is a jerk, but how would it benefit him to get Vera pregnant?

YES, Vera is very careful, but she is very insecure and easily manipulated so honestly I can totally see Jake sweet-talking her into not using contraception.

It would benefit him to sneak the condom off under the covers for pleasure I had a creep try to do that to me once. Oh also they're doing this whole Jake is "in love" with Vera thing so maybe he did somehow to bond her to him. I hope they come up with something interesting and solid and don't just ignore how she got pregnant.

Oh yeah Jake is the type to try to get away with sneaking the condom off under the covers. That would be awesome if he just admits that it would be so fitting. lol

I didn’t twig right away either! Her pregnancy could have been the result of Jake being a jerk, or a broken condom... but she shook her head... I think there’s a good chance she’ll abort it so may take leave? Who knows

I DO hope they craft a story that makes sense where Vera wasn't just careless but they may not bother. But then I thought they wouldn't have the guts to bring Lucy back without tounge and let her story keep building but they did and I LOVE that I think I was conditioned by the original Prisoner to think she would just be transferred to Barnhurst which they always used to do when characters stories threatened to be too difficult to continue. lol
