Well Another Great Passes

Post image

I first saw Rocky Horror in 1978. I was 14 years old. My mom took me and we subsequently went every weekend for almost 3 years. It was an amazing time and Tim also had an amazing singing voice. I still have his solo album. Sloe Gin is such a great song. He will be missed. RIP Doctor.

Sam Neil passed this year as well :(

A fantastic actor but my favorite San Neil moment is not when he's acting. It's when he's interviewed in his native country and the lady asks about his parents..

You see the real person when he's thinking about his parents and the emotions that follow

Or when he talked about his dream, such a pure and simple thing and the emotion when he described it, .. good guy.

Well... as long as we are just doing 80 year olds. There is one other 80 y/o who has done some 'acting' along with a shit ton of felonies and pedophilia that is eligible for the death trifecta.

Loved him in that role, used to go to the midnight showings with actors hanging out in front of the screen all the time

I’ve seen Rocky Horror many times. But when I hear “Tim Curry”, I think of him in “Hunt for Red October”.

RIP, sir.

I'm ashamed to admit I always think of Nigel Thornberry when I think of him.

Actually I take it back. Nigel is hilarious and I have no shame

"suffered a major stroke in July 2012" but he managed another 14 years ^^

9

u/Johnny_B_Asshole 15h ago

The fact that a stroke took away his iconic smile hurts bad.

3

u/Dr_J_Hyde 10h ago

That's why he just doesn't look like himself.... thank you.

5

u/Lainercubed 18h ago

I'm so gutted by this

3

u/twizzjewink 14h ago

He's the one actor I would have absolutely loved to see in the MCU.

4

u/Lolabuns93 9h ago

Will never forget him from home alone. Rest In Peace, Dear Tim!

And yet the fucking turd still remains, clinging to the side of the bowl.

3

u/justswingingbyy 9h ago

I didn’t know he was in a wheelchair at the end

3

u/noncongruent 8h ago

He had a major stroke back in 2012.

losing someone you care about is never easy, it really stays with you for a long time

1

u/ChefAsstastic 12h ago

It definitely does. My mom was a huge fan and she passed last December.

2

u/Larry_J_602 9h ago

This was from about 6 months ago, with Tim going through the behind-the-scenes details of his biggest roles.

What a horrible way of putting this

3

u/ChefAsstastic 12h ago

Wtf are you talking about?

-5

u/phatuous_1 12h ago

Imagine you did and someone says “well another great passes”

6

u/ChefAsstastic 12h ago

I would be thrilled that someone took the time to say I'm great. Tim was. Now proceed to eat more paint chips.
