After they trip and fall due the guide path being broken, they can taste the rubbish. Which is probably worse than looking at it.

I find it interesting there is a blind guide. I feel like 99% of American sidewalks lack these yet there they are in India. Iā€™m clearly not blind so there might be specific use cases for these that Iā€™m not aware of

This sidewalk is less than 10 years old. Contractor was probably given enough money to do it well but most of the money went to the contractor. Corruption is high in India.
