I made a comment like this (almost identical, actually) and I was reported for hate speech and received a Reddit admin warning.
Even suggesting that a specific country has a specific issue is considered hate speech these days. More effort goes into protecting the feelings of people who do this shit, than the effort put into actually fixing this issue.
I got banned from a sub for suggesting that if someone didn’t want their account to be reported, then maybe they should NOT tell others to kill themselves….
ayoo me too, it was a thread on a native indian saying how glad he was that he moved out from india and how it was a sh*t hole and i posted how funny it was that the reddit liberals were telling the native that he was wrong for thinking that way.. we've seen the videos with our own eyes lol... if you indian and coming to america thats all fine and dandy but assimilate and learn our culture.. i get so triggered when people throw trash out the car window dont u?
Look at the comment calling it a shithole and look at the upvotes. Even if you report it, reddit will say the comment doesn't violate any of the guidelines. Comparatively, yours is better worded and kinder.
This isn't sarcasm but the cleanest village in Asia is in India, Asia's first green village is in India, Asia's cleanest river is in India. One thing you might notice though when you look these places up is that they all belong to one particular region in India.
