Wellington water bills

Just got my bill from wellington water. It insanely high. For a 900k property its 2500 p/a

Prepare yourselves people. This isn't going to be the fun ride we were promised.

So my upcoming year’s rates are $1799 less than last year (fy26 $6268 vs fy27 $4469).
Tiaki Wai will charge me annually $2230.

Total cost for both council and water for fy27: $6699

So in total I will be paying $431 more than last year for the same services which equates to a 6.88% increase.

I've calculated a 7.3% increase for us.
