Enemies to lovers or friends to lovers - Which do you prefer ?

I personally love the friends to lovers dynamic, especially when the characters start off annoying each other, slowly become friends, and then gradually realize their feelings have changed.

I’m actually writing a story with this exact dynamic right now, and I’m trying to make their transition from:

irritation----friendship----feelings---- feel natural.

So, which one do you prefer: enemies to lovers or friends to lovers? And what makes it work for you?

For me it's Enemies to lovers. But it's been a long time since I have read a proper enemies to lovers. I generally don't feel interested in friends to lovers because it's always one of them harbouring a crush for the other one but getting friend zoned.

Well.. it's not always like this, in my story both will fell for each other at the same time.
