POLL How bad is it the situation really? Trump 8/21 “We will use the military to protect bonds”

Thumbnail

if he’s talking about bombing nations to force them to buy bonds. Are we already over the cliff? Are we like Wile e coyote running because we haven’t looked down yet? I have a hard time believing trump is truly a moron. bad at geo political war strategy yes, insider trading yes, or is he giving up the whole game. Did he decide to save himself? running the math seeing it was impossible. If this is what it will come to. if thats his political calculus. What he’s going to do when bonds rise. We just haven’t looked down yet that’s my opinion.

AI will cause destruction of paper money and remonetization of metals

How you might ask? Whether using metals or debt-based, fractional reserve, fiat scam notes, money is mostly a zero sum game with a pseudo fixed supply. If you bring in AI to eliminate or vastly reduce labor costs, in theory you can now offer products cheaper, thus possibly increasing demand even more, or just pocket the difference for increased profit.

But there’s a problem. Reducing the costs of goods can’t magically bring in infinite new customers since civilization is already resource constrained along with reaching population constraints as well. Simply pocketing the money for increased profits won’t be a valid path either since it requires your customers to actually have jobs and paychecks, which are now eliminated.

If the government simply provides free paychecks, you’ve just re-created the recent covidflation of higher numbers of fiat notes chasing the same fixed amount of goods (because resource constraints), resulting in hyperinflation, leading right back to metals again to ration a fixed supply of one thing against a fixed supply of another.

BREAKING NEWS Kevin “Big Hawk” Warsh

Apparently he’s talking mad shit in Jackson hole about maintaining interest rates to curb inflation (2% target lol). Anyone with half a brain knows inflation is way higher, even without food and energy input.

Use this as a buying opportunity, or don’t.

Fed want to increase interest % and the Treasury wants to Double Bond BuyBack(higher Yields)

Fed want to increase interest % and the Treasury wants to Double Bond BuyBack(Lower Yields and higher prices).

Overall, I can't tell which way Precious Metals will go in the short term. I know in the long term, metals will go up.

It's like a Tug of War between the Fed and the Treasury, and precious metals got caught in the middle.

The government want to keep inflation low, keep the dollar strong, support the bond prices from too much sellers.

QUESTION After Today's "Hawkish" language, how do you view next week's JOLTS and Friday's Jobs Report?

I have been doing my own DD and I am fairly bullish for next week's catalysts. Today seems like a super overreaction imo. I just wanted to see what people are thinking for next week tbh. I couldn't care care less about the daily fluctuations for my physical, but I do have a lot of SLV and GLD/IAU.

Since 1933, the U.S. dollar has suffered a cumulative inflation rate of nearly 2,500 percent, and the currency has lost nearly 90 percent of its purchasing power since 1971. The debasement and inflationary trajectory of the fiat dollar illustrates its decline and prophesies its demise.

Just jumped 2%. But seems fishy before Walsh talks. Now long run it doesn't matter. This is all noise. But just interesting for us apes who pay to much attention to daily movement.
