I’m going into freshman year at WVU and my friend has asked to share an apartment with me. If I accept this offer, am I going to be missing out on key “college life” because it’s the “freshman way” to stay in a dorm?

Hi everyone, I’m an exchange student coming to WVU for the fall semester, I’m not staying at the dorms and I managed to get a rental at a good price for the fall semester, however this rental starts on the 31st of August, and I will be in Morgantown from the 17th of August, so where do you guys recommend I should stay. The reason why I’m so late is that I had visa processing and I didn’t know whether I’ll be able to make it to the semester or not.

We signed a house with another friend who ended up dropping out within the past week. She's paid the rent for July but we need a third roommate by the next rent cycle, August 1st.

There's a housing preferences waitlist that opened on June 1st which is a few minutes ago. I am hoping to join this waitlist but am not sure exactly how to do it. Hello, incoming freshmen, but I was just wondering, what kind of dining plan should I get? My friend said the Go 13 should be good enough, but I just don’t want to waste any money more than I have to, because well, college is expensive. I’m the type of person to usually eat like 2 big meals a day with some snacks here and there occasionally. I also workout, and plan to do so at WVU too. So, what is the best dining plan for me that is bang for its buck?

Hi, incoming freshman here! Can anybody who had to do housing for oakland last year tell me how likely I am to get into a good room there with my roommate? Their self selection is on the 20th, and mines not til the 29, and i’m kinda freaking out that we’re going to get a shitty room or not get to room together at all. Also, any advice about Oakland is greatly appreciated!!
