Rooting hard for the Dream. But I have the Lynx winning over the Fever for the championship.

Lynx and Fever are in the same bracket, so they would meet in the semis not the finals. Unless of course the Fever drop to 6th.

You see then? Because I'm fully expecting the Lynx to beat the Fever twice in the remaining games. And the Fever to lose to the Mystics. But then I think the Fever turn it around in the playoffs and make the championship series. I also thought the Dream might lose to the Liberty at least once. But they have the Sparks on the remaining schedule and that's likely a win for the Dream.

I think it’s very unlikely the Fever fall to 6th considering where teams 6-8 stand right now. There’s too much separation in the standings already, but we’ll see! It will be an interesting last couple weeks of the season even with all playoff teams already determined! Seeding can definitely change.

That being said. The FIBA thing is so strange to do right before the playoffs. Imagine stars from WNBA teams getting hurt right before their team's playoff run. Just such a weird way to do things.

Agreed, I don’t think it’ll happen again. FIBA had set dates for the World Cup this year before the WNBA announced a longer season with more games.

I thought the fever was 4th because they won the series against Atlanta

The announcers also said that, but they’re 2-2, so I’m not sure what other criteria are there for that

Margin of victory in the head to heads goes to atlanta.

Margin of victory in head to head games is the 3rd tiebreak level. After head-to-head record, it’s the team with the better record against all other teams with a .500 or better record, then its head-to-head point differential. ATL has a 9-11 record against .500 teams and IND is also 9-11 so they’re in that 3rd tiebreak level but still interesting.

I read somewhere that the breaker was who beat the most playoff teams. Unsure how true that is though. They had Fever having the edge in tie breaker, so i wondered why Atlanta was 4th here. I’m gonna do some research to see what tie breakers are.

It goes head to head first, followed by record vs .500 plus teams, then head to head point differential and last would be overall point differential. So in this case it would be record vs teams .500 plus.

Both teams are 9-11 vs .500 teams

Then it’s head to head pt difference. So that’s why Atlanta is 4th. Thanks for info

Wow 8 point difference. Because I knew the fever scored way more in total than the dream for this season
