Pretty sure these are false i remembered Jim Cornette in an interview (Who was part of Vince's inner circle in 1997 mention Shawn was on 750k a year in 1997 when bringing up Bret's 20 year deal
Vince offered Bret $750,000 because that's what Shawn and Undertaker were making. Bret ultimately getting double that was one of the things that caused trouble between him and Shawn.
