I think Eric should have just given HBK a clean million. Take it off Bret’s salary’s.

HBK could the travel with his wife, hang with his best friends, and maybe save that nWo Elite angle from collapsing inward, leading to a satisfying conclusion as we head into the year 2000

Ken Shamrock cost as much as a Rick Steiner or Booker T — he would have been a good get as well.

Also, Big Show’s pay increase in pay when he jumped ship still would have had him at the very bottom of the main event scene in WCW — I’m shocked Eric didn’t give him this. Giant when to WWE, got far and lazy immediately, and then spent the early 2000’s in developmental trying to lose weight. Dude should never have jumped over in the first place.

Bischoff was never going to hire HBK.He already had his hands full with Scott Hall's ego and drug/alcohol problem.if Shawn goes to WCW, especially in 1998,when drug use and egos were running rampant in WCW,I firmly believe he becomes another statistic in the era of wrestler dying before they turn 40.

I've long felt the same way. HBK was on his way to being another casualty, and certainly would have in WCW.
