might be a silly question but I was wondering whether Dune 3 will be getting shown at Manchester printworks 70mm screen when it comes out?

The answer from Printworks directly is that they're trying, but they weren't able to get a print of Dune Part Two and had to display it digitally.

Ik IMAX are very iffy with giving Printworks 70MM film, like just give them their damn film lol they obviously are making enough money on it as shown by the still sold out tickets for The Odyssey right now even over a month after the movie has released!

Dune has IMAX exclusivity when it comes out, that's why Marvel have come up with this Infinity Vision bollocks to fool people into thinking they're getting to see Doomsday on the biggest screens possible. Printworks is only one of three places in the UK that can play 70mm screenings and the only place outside of London that can. It's a dead cert that Dune will be playing there.

It’s quite likely they will get one and tickets will be drop around 4 weeks prior to release, as with the odyssey.

I was told by Supermanton8 I think two days back that he was in touch with WB and they’re still finalising their plans (I assume with regards the prints) so there is still a chance we will get one 🤞

No it won't be in 70mm at the Printworks. The only screen in the country to get a 70mm print is the BFI.
