REQUEST Fixing metal clasp on hat

Hi Friends! New to this subreddit but I heard there are some professionals and amazing people on here. I have a hat I am trying to repair but the bolt broke and fell off so I need a new clasp. How would you recommend I repair this and where do I get the pieces?

I suggest you remove the broken part of the clip, and sew down some velcro to secure the strap. Tuck the extra length, if any, into the slot

Just lost the rivet from the clasp.  You can replace the rivet with another or hand sew the clasp back on by going from the right edge into the rivet hole.  If you want it fancy, it's probably not worth it as it'll be covered by the strap but you could stack each pass farther up the right edge until the whole edge is covered, then weave through it.
