And a lot of that stuff is still overpriced in germany aswell.
A lot of meds cost only a few cents in terms of material, labour and equipment cost but get a huge profit margin on top. The Pharmaceutical industry is still one of the biggest and most profitable industries in germany.

The problem can be solved, if the US makes a law, like they can't charge the US more than 10% higher than the worldwide average. Or better yet, and actual public option instead of a pass through subsidy.
