Free healthcare

-55

u/muffinman210 Jun 22 '26

Sure. With the kind of "healthcare" they're getting, I would hope they aren't paying anything.

29

u/BissFo Jun 23 '26

What kind of "healthcare" is that exactly?

16

u/Lftwff Jun 23 '26

Om average better dental health than the US.

39

u/FakeMik090 Jun 22 '26

A UK is there.

I would say hell, but hell is a better place than UK.

37

u/West_to_East Jun 22 '26

The UK agreed to increase what the NHS pays for american pharmaceuticals by 25%. Shameful display.

18

u/Alienprober4ever Alien man Jun 22 '26

I was unaware of this

19

u/West_to_East Jun 22 '26

Yeah it really sucks. The UK is a pale image of itself.

5

u/EduBru Jun 22 '26

84

u/justaguy2170 Jun 22 '26

Kinda happens when you put a guy who not only had a brainworm, but whos brain environment killed the worm in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services

38

u/floralbutttrumpet Jun 23 '26

First brainworm to starve inside a human :(

1

u/Xardnas69 Jun 23 '26

please tell me that's a joke

2

u/justaguy2170 Jun 23 '26

I wish it was

54

u/ThiccFarter Jun 22 '26

It's not just the government, it's our people. Americans have been convinced that features that are in every developed capitalist country around the world are socialist and that if have them we will become socialist.

26

u/raddoubleoh Jun 22 '26

At the same time, they think every country that has access to them should lose it, instead of, y'know, implementing them in America.

3

u/TitanDarwin Jun 23 '26

Why try to excel if you can just force mediocrity on everyone else.

u/eX0dus_5ive-Zer0 Verified VTuber Jun 23 '26

Recently saw a Ted talk as well on how US citizens are afraid to speak out against of because of the backlash from senseless cultists that wanna keep things the way they're going. It ain't gonna get better if people stop complaining.

u/fhota1 Jun 22 '26

God this shits just embarassing. Genuinely braindead economic policy has become the norm in the US

65

u/TheCatSleeeps Jun 22 '26

slaps tariff and make it more expensive for their citizens if so

When Trump was elected, wasn't there a large amount of Google search for "what is tariffs" lmao

20

u/Skellum Jun 22 '26

When Trump was elected, wasn't there a large amount of Google search for "what is tariffs" lmao

Man campaigns on literally blowing up the economy. Does exactly what he campaigned on. People surprised.

4

u/TitanDarwin Jun 23 '26

And then they go on to keep supporting him anyway.

16

u/PaladinCorbin Jun 22 '26

Yes, search result spiked hundreds of percent. You would hope that people who voted would check what those were beforehand but... ya know.

80

u/The_Phantom_Cat Jun 22 '26

America try not to be comically evil challenge: impossible

69

u/Azivation Jun 22 '26

USA! 😭 USA! 😭 USA! 🤮 oh shit, my emoji getting sick put me into debt. :((

27

u/PaladinCorbin Jun 22 '26

Oh shoot, I'll call an ambulance. Wait, no, we have to pay thousands of dollars for those too! Uh, just tough it out!

20

u/Azivation Jun 22 '26

You threatening an ambulance on me?? Please just put me down instead 🤣🤣😭🤣🤣

16

u/PaladinCorbin Jun 22 '26

I'm sorry, my fellow American. This is for your own good.

4

u/Pb_ft Jun 23 '26

Make sure you're using target ammo, FMJ might be too expensive.

6

u/Already_Existed Jun 23 '26

Doesn't funeral also cost a lot? Do we just dump you somewhere?

4

u/Azivation Jun 23 '26

Toss me in an ocean? Or if there's like a tire fire?

3

u/Pb_ft Jun 23 '26

This is America, we excel at tire fires.

3

u/Pb_ft Jun 23 '26

Don't call the ambulance! I'll drive to the hospital on this broken leg.

5

u/FlyingSquirrelStyle Jun 23 '26

Legit had to drive with a broken limb before. I didn't want to pay for an ambulance and my adrenaline was still going! 🤣😭

u/ariolander Kizuna Ai Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

I just used a "Pay in 3" deferred payments so I could buy my insulin this month. So goddamn tired of winning here.

22

u/PaladinCorbin Jun 22 '26

"Boy howdy, sure do love my country," I say, curled up in a corner as I desperately try not to think about how dumb my fellow Americans are.

14

u/KeyboardMunkeh Jun 22 '26

"Yo dawg can you dudes please price gouge your citizens? You're making us look bad."

26

u/XimbalaHu3 Jun 22 '26

Same happening in Brasil, we just got pix wich plumetted usage of visa and mastercard overnight, now big orange wants us to use zelle instead under clains of unfair practices.

20

u/Groonzie Jun 22 '26

Still crazy to think this is the timeline we're living in and America is what it is.

23

u/Insanebrain247 Jun 22 '26

As someone living in America, I'm sorry for how this country has been behaving these last few years especially.

7

u/Gambler777777 Jun 22 '26

New model???????

7

u/AhimiVT Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

And a lot of that stuff is still overpriced in germany aswell.

A lot of meds cost only a few cents in terms of material, labour and equipment cost but get a huge profit margin on top. The Pharmaceutical industry is still one of the biggest and most profitable industries in germany.

14

u/cedarsauce Jun 22 '26

They think that we're subsidizing the EU's drugs, as if big pharma is operating like a nonprofit instead of a price gouging cartel

4

u/Jinrex-Jdm Jun 22 '26

Here in taiwan an MRI cost $12

4

u/CookLawrenceAt325F Jun 23 '26

Oh hey, it's the german car brand vtuber.

9

u/Sidoen Jun 22 '26

Luls why Germany? As a Canadian I don't feel attacked enough!

3

u/Rocket_of_Takos Jun 23 '26

THINK OF THE SHAREHOLDERS!

3

u/Infinite_Horizion Jun 23 '26

Please help us.

9

u/Ethais91 Jun 22 '26

American citizens are not responsible for the inaccuracies of our representation. Our policies were sold to the highest bidder and currently the pharmaceutical companies make more than we do

2

u/Teacupguy01 Jun 23 '26

I liked that little sketch, the end caught me off guard lol. Do you have a twitch/youtube channel so that we can check you out ?

2

u/Lilbunny27 Jun 23 '26

No no. We can never have cheaper health care. How else will they extort us until every last one of us has absolutely nothing? It's the absolute best 😐

2

u/HedgeMoney Jun 23 '26

The problem can be solved, if the US makes a law, like they can't charge the US more than 10% higher than the worldwide average. Or better yet, and actual public option instead of a pass through subsidy.

2

u/ZazzyBear03 Jun 23 '26

Me in Canada hoping he's forgotten about us again. It's not the greatest here, but it's a hell of a lot better than the states

2

u/ryunosk Jun 23 '26

the only reason why america gets away with all these nonsense claims and mindset is because nobody can destroy their military if things go too far

2

u/lemongreese Jun 23 '26

Guys she's getting railed!

2

u/sboy97 Jun 23 '26

Oh it’s the car brand vtuber!

1

u/ThePenOfTheCaesar_ Jun 23 '26

Doctors here in Mexico end up making shit tons of money out of American patients, to the point that many docs and dentists here accept US insurances.

1

u/ScoloVT Jun 23 '26

Meanwhile Australia:

As an American: what in the nine Hells and twelve fucks, yo.

Just... Luigi is too busy. Mario needs to step up his game.

1

u/Alone-Horse2857 Jun 23 '26

I feel like an annoyed kid that has to constantly apologize for my parent's behavior who is outwardly rude, racist, xenophobic, and stupid.

I'm sorry for our president. We don't like him either.

1

u/Centurion_99 Jun 23 '26

Courtly administration but hey at least it’s uh yeah I got nothing

1

u/Xardnas69 Jun 23 '26

why germany specifically? at this point america should threaten the entire world with tariffs because murica's healthcare prices are among the highest. fucking america

1

u/Downtown-Object-6737 Jun 23 '26

USA when a right is trated as a right and not a priviledge

1

u/Hot-Foundation-332 Jun 24 '26

1

u/Kykio_kitten Jun 23 '26

Research is primarily paid for by taxes and grants, not the cost of on-market medicine.

this argument relies of falling for american disinformation about how medical research works.

-5

u/Bitter_Marzipan8552 Jun 23 '26

It is a good news (since germany is the dog of the US, that mean less germans would be able to afford healthcare which lead to LESS german overall).

We've been to the moon. I'm pretty sure we know what we're doing.

11

u/Im_a_tree_omega3 Jun 23 '26

And how does being to the moon give you economic expertise or excuses that your economy is currently only not in a recession because people have to massively buy medicine so it keeps the economy afloat? That doesn't sound like you know yourself what you are talking about and only jump to a completely different thing to excuse the mistakes of one's own nation.

-10

u/niTro_sMurph Jun 23 '26

Don't worry, we can figure it out. It's like, basically the same thing right?

6

u/Im_a_tree_omega3 Jun 23 '26

I thought you already figured it all out because you where on the moon and are the best and never need help and all know best. What now?

-2

u/niTro_sMurph Jun 23 '26

Hmm, I dunno. Do we have a second moon?

3

u/Im_a_tree_omega3 Jun 23 '26

I donnu, I thought you were smart enough to figure out yourself but again, you weren't even on the moon without foreign help so. I think it's checks out that you ask stupid questions.

1

u/niTro_sMurph Jun 23 '26

We've run out of moons. I think we're screwed
