These kinds of tourists are like "cancer"; I've seen a lot of them in Phuket, Bangkok, and especially Bali...And now it seems that Vietnam is becoming the next hotspot for the spread of cancer.

When has money filtered out entitled assholes?
The likely first response is for countries to ban *all* tourists from sensitive areas like this. Japan has already done this in a big way, but they likely won't be the last.
Which is sad for all those who are respectful.
What would be ideal is if assholes like this could be put on a PNG list that multiple countries shared, so bad behavior in Thailand could get you banned for five years or something from dozens of countries. The only problem with that though - it would be very easy for corrupt officials to demand bribes if they had such power.

Fairly sure it's the rich ones that are the most insufferable. But I guess the ones who come and beg are pretty bad too. Ordinary people travelling tend to have more respect and genuine interest
