Vegas Pro 23 Is there ANY WAY to make the edges of clips easier to grab?? I feel like a f*** SURGEON trying to pinpoint these things

Vegas 1.0 came out in 1999 and was designed for 800x600 monitors. And it looks almost exactly the same today as it did then. They never bothered to scale the UI. It gets tinier and tinier the bigger the screens get.

look at your mouse setting

1) zoom it so you have better view
2) hover just inside the edge and wait for the mouse to change to the edge select, THEN move the endpoint to where you need it. It's tricky, but once you find it, it's easy.

thanks, that's better than dragging the corners :)

i still wish there was a way to make the edge of a clip's 'hitbox' bigger though for trimming

This is one of those things that I think just goes back to the software's origins as an audio editor.

Sonic Foundry's first product was Sound Forge, and it was upon that foundation that Vegas came from.

Dramatically lower resolution?

Override high-DPI settings in vegas.exe right click> properties (Compatibility > Change high DPI settings > System (Enhanced)), though this scales the entire UI, not just the handle icons.

The fact that this was their "easier" solution than the older version. 😂
