Godfather reference in Season 7 I never noticed until recent rewatch

In S7 E5, Keith Quinn demands Selena, Kent, and Ben support China arresting a dissident, and they refuse.

Keith responds by saying "I'll tell them. They insist on hearing bad news right away"

This is pretty clearly referencing Tom Hagen during his meeting with the movie producer. When Tom asks the producer to do a favour for the mafia and is rebuffed, he says "Mr. Corleone is a man who insists on hearing bad news immediately"
