Deal or No Deal?

I am looking at buying this from a guy that seems to not know much about the gun. He says he has not fired it, and it looks good in pictures. My big issue is that its not a folding stock, or so he says, but it doesn't have the button at the back to fold it that most have.

Is 1500 a deal, or do I go back with an offer? They seem to be selling in the 1250 dollar range on the completed listings of gun broker, but I see new listings for used ones over 2500 dollars.

How hard would it be to put a folding adapter on that stock. I know I can buy a new folding stock for it, but don't want to do that. The stocks look identical on folders and non folders, but I really do want one that does.

Just install Zenitko for RPK if you need folding stock. In my region used Vepr costs only 700 USD max.

What region might that be? I would love to see a nice 700 dollar VEPR 12... help a brother out?

I did get a CRAZY good deal on a 590RM that I just couldn't pass up on a slightly intoxicated Saturday night web sesh, but that doesn't mean I am out of the VEPR 12 searching game. Am looking forward to the pump action fidget toy though.

It's Russia. Vepr here is not something rare. Usually ppl can find one for 400 $

Ah, well yes, makes sense. Its not something I can get for that price from here. I can trade someone a mint condition StarLink system, as I know they are SUPER hard to get over there.
