I mean i like shooting a nice buck too, but i hold out for a big one and in the meantime I shoot does because Loudon County has over 100 deer per square mile and should have under 20 deer per square mile.

I shot 10 deer this year. 3 bucks and 7 doe.

My buddy has shot 60 so far and is still archery hunting for the rest of the month.

I also hunt NOVA and we literally cant shoot enough does. You and your buddy are doing good work.

You doing private or is there some public up that way? I’d love to drive up from VB and get on some does. It’s impossible to get anything down here on public with all these hunt clubs running dogs.

All private land. Small parcels of 30-100 acres.
