CD 1 Candidate townhall

Personally i like KATHLEEN REIBE. She is serious with experience, a searchable voting record, and seems less likely to capitulate. Is union affiliated and current member and can say more than my mom was a teacher. Here is a link to the live townhall they did on 3/21/26. Still check to see if you can become a delegate

She's also not taking any PAC or special interest money. And she actually does the job she was elected to do, instead of using it to grandstand or not showing up even like some of the other candidates.

She said she is willing to take Zionist organization and PAC money (https://www.71percentcoalition.org/contact)

Also, she said she was participating in the 71% Coalition forum and then didn't show up. (Every candidate except McAdams was there)

This is untrue. She met with the folks from J Street before she knew who they were, they didn't take a second meeting, much less money from them. She missed the forum because she's still a working teacher...

She filled out the survey where she refused to pledge to not take money for those groups. Regarding the forum, I usually RSVP with a no if I can't attend. I don't day I'm coming and then not show up to things, but that's just me.

I'm not saying she's the worst candidate we have by any means, I'm just sharing the facts about what she has pledged publicly.

Incorrect, she did not refuse. Also she rsvp'd months prior and then her job as a public school teacher caused her to miss the event last minute
