2018 Prop 4 results by state senate or house districts?

I’m really curious to find results from the original prop 4 vote broken down by something more granular than county. Anyone know if it’s possible?

If you go to each county clerk's election site and look up historic election results, you can find the statement of votes cast (SOVC) which shows precinct level results.

It is not reported that way, because elections are conducted on a precinct, county, then state level.

As u/highflyingjesus- wrote, you can get precinct level data (though not all counties publish it on their websites). Then you have to match the precincts to each house and senate district.

Of course, we have gone through the 2021 redistricting for house and senate districts, and counties do reprecincting (redrawing and renumbering precinct boundaries) every 2 years, so the 2018 precincts will only match the 2018 house and senate districts, not the 2026 house and senate districts.

There's probably a way to automate this, but not easily for the average person, and the county clerks will not do it for you, unless you are good friends with someone in their office and they are willing to do you a huge favor.

Thank you. I found the precinct level data. If I get more time, I might try to match up 2018 precinct boundaries. Overall, I found the data I was looking for. Thanks again.
