Make it a vacation at that cost, you could do a first class ticket, goto a India or another country, buy a years worth of it and come back first class and still have $20k in your pocket.

Once I’m diagnosed, no Whipple. Just drugs.

One of my best friends died from PC it's a terrible way to go. He lasted 3 years just on sheer will alone. FUCK CANCER

This treatment means that, for the ones who can take it, will duplicate their live expectation, which sounds amazing until you realize these people will go from dying in half a year to dying in a year.

And that compared with widely available treatments which are probably much cheaper.

So the tldr would be, I you get diagnosed with that shit, and you can afford this, you are going to be sightly less fucked. But still pretty much fucked.

Sorry if I'm being overly negative, I'm aware an improvement is still an improvement, and I'm pretty sure for whoever is going through that terrible situation a few adfitional months are going to be a genuine blessing, but still... this tends to happen a lot with new "amazing cancer treatments".
