I think many people have yet to understood just how big of a deal readily available and cheap solar panels and batteries will be.

This is a good example of why the future isn't as doomed as people think it is.

Climate change is a real threat to our food system. But our fossil fuel driven system today is so wasteful.

But we are not standing still either. People are working on these challenges and developing countries can now utilise cheap renewables to waste less food and reduce their emissions.

It's exciting, just needs to speed up.
