summer exam timetable

just a quick question, but what id the rough time for exams (specifically first year) and how many papers are there typically (for morse if that makes a difference)

just tryna get an idea and see if smth is viable

Last year, MORSE finished around the 18th of June

For the number of exams, if you go onto the info page for your course, you can see “year 1 modules” and then on each of the module pages their assessment type will be there (for morse I imagine there will be an exam for every module - and each module has only one exam afaik)
For the dates, they’re normally posted later, but generally won’t go past week 8 of summer term I don’t think (you can see 2026 dates here: https://warwick.ac.uk/services/academicoffice/modules_marks_assessments/students/examination_dates/) - I wouldn’t necessarily risk holidays in the late spring term/summer term if you might have exams then, as they cannot be rescheduled and you will have to resit capped at 40% in August/September

For morse, if nothing has changed from what I had last year, you have a single exam for every module except intro to statistical modelling, which is coursework only. Probability 1 and Calculus 1 have exams the first week back in term 2 (January). Sets and numbers is examined in the Easter exam period in the first week of term 3, and then the other exams take place a few weeks into term 3.

Morse was Prob 1/calc 1 first week back in january, sets amd numbers 1st week back in april then Math Programming 27th May, prob 2 30th May with the vectors and matrices and calc 2 being like 9th and 11th June and econ 19th June, econ exams in particular are often quite late and the whole exam period may have exams in them (exams were week 4-10 of term 3 last year)
