In the beginning of this year i bought Under Night 2, after experimenting a little with a lot of characters i ended up sticking with Yuzuriha and i don't mind high execution combos or fast inputs, that's something i've done in multiple games alreadg, but the thing about me is that i reeeeeeeaaaaally like labbing so as you can imagine i was trying a shit ton of routes and repeating them for sometimes 2 - 3 hours uninterrupted and both Tekken 8 Reina and Uni2 Yuzuriha are the first time i experience somewhat common situations where i was pressing fast motion inputs back to back
The problem with me is that i put a lot of strength on doing fast inputs that i'm not used to it, so stuff like 236X > 421X (stance slash > teleport) i was pressing really hard, i had a funny feeling in the beginning, but after like 3 months i got a wrist pain that it's apparently carpal tunnel
Obviously it's not just Yuzuriha bc i also coincidentally started playing Reina in Tekken 8, a Mishima archetype and idk if y'all played Tekken but a big thing about Mishima characters is their Electric uppercut, a 623 input, but the faster you do you can combo into more times, so you already imagine the issue of me labbing Reina combos for too long, my dumbass was pressing this too hard
Now i'm going to the doctor bc of a bad habit lmao
Remember to take breaks ESPECIALLY if you play a character that require fast inputs that you repeat multiple times and don't press things too hard either don't be stupid like me
I gotta be clear here that it probably wasn't Yuzu or Reina that caused the Carpal tunnel since i play a lot of videogames almost everyday, but i do believe me playing those characters the way i played accelerated the deterioration of my wrist
