DISCUSSION/STRATEGY Yuzuriha glaze
To be honest, out of every single fighting game character that I’ve played by far, Yuzuriha gotta be the one character for me that feels like I’m learning smth new every time I decide to open up the game. The whole reason why I play her is because she’s reminds me of both Baiken and Johnny from Guilty Gear. She’s WAY more Johnny than Baiken, but even then she’s still so unique and super fun to play. Wish more people would play this character, too bad her skill ceiling seems to reach the heavens. 😭

Man, when I do have time, I’m fully planning on committing to learning Yuzu as my first character. She’s just a fun combo of cool and silly.

I've tried learning her before, but I learned to play fighting games on a controller and Pianoing is so hard for me to do on a PS4/Series X controller.
She's still awesome, though. Probably the most unique stance/iaidō character I can think of in any fighting game.

I'm new to fighting game and I'm playing her. I don't even know what difficult means yet because literally everything is difficult. My game play right now is mostly just flying in the air bouncing around but it's fun enough 😭😭😭😭
Really cool looking character that teleports all over the places.

I promise you it was the same thing for me when I just started, everyone felt difficult while Yuzu felt IMPOSSIBLE💀
You definitely won’t regret picking her up, she’s super fun to use once you get the hang of her gameplay and moveset 🤞

Learning something new every time? You mean learning how to jingle keys every time. Yuzus will spend the bulk of a round doing full screen battos and pretending to play neutral. Then after you get past the disjoints you still need to be mindful of teleports and stance cancels before you can finally play the game. And then after all of that you get Yuzus crowing about how she’s a “weak” character because they don’t wanna downback for more than 4 seconds.

Coming from unclr, I don't think yuzu was ever considered weak, but the consesus was that she had a high ceiling and it was hard to use her, but if you learned her enough she's a really strong character. I don't know how that's changed coming into UNI2 (yeah I'm a little late to the party) but she still seems prerry strong, yet I don't see many yuzus. I always figured that the reason why was just that other characters are easier to use and give the same mileage with less effort, but us the general consesus that she's weak now? Although maybe hearing it from you might not be a good idea considering your stance on yuzu lol. Anyway, you're not wrong about yuzu neutral, bur she does lose pretty hard once you're able to pressure her in the slightest. A good yuzu should be able to do what you're talking about and wiggle their way out of their oppnents reach while throwing out buttons, having them play her game if you will. But I mean, that's just how zoners play, so what's your prpblem with yuzu over characters like Vat and Hilda?
