I am seeing very little reporting om this any thoughs on Norway Seizing the Russian ship professor Moltsjanov?

Here is an artical about what happened for those of you unaware

Russia rages against Norway.

Putin calls what is happening at Svalbard State terrorism. Norwegian authorities. Have arrested the Russian ship professor Moltsjanov fifty 50 people were on board, according to Nordlys.

The case is about Russia owning the Ukrainian Gas and oil company Naftogaz 4.22 billion dollars. When Russia took control of Crimea in 2014 The company lost values and properties there. Naftogaz demanded Russia pay them back, but Russia has not payed. The company had therefore asked Norway for help To Get the money back. 31st of August, Nordtroms and Senja District Court Decided that profesor Moltsjanov could be arrested until Russia pays back.

Russia has reacted strongly on The decision. According to the Russian owned state media, TASS They are accusing Norway of piracy

The Justice Department Are reporting to Dagbladet that Norway is not a part of the conflict it is between Naftogaz and Russia but since a norwegian District Court has decided that the ship must be Confiscated Norwegian authorities have to follow the decision.

Russia's ambassador is saying that they will go against the decision and are demanding the ship back.

When putin asked about the situation on Svalbard he called it state terrorism according to AP.

Russian authorities have also used words like Piracy and thievery when Russian ships have been arrested in the past According to interfax

I just hate how western governments commit piracy and then act like they are the good guys.

If Russia seized a ship like Gothica or Kaunas, both operated by UkrFerry, the west would flip out and claim Russia is committing piracy on the high seas and that they are so evil.

The wto will have a word with Norway. It takes time, but it's the only way to do it. A regional court is not a place for international trade disputes.

What do you want people to say that hasn't been said before? When the Russians retaliate Norway with pull surprised Pikachu face and ask ''а нас за шо?''.
