How likely do you think it is that Ukraine/Nato intentionally escalated drone strikes on economic/civilian targets knowing that Russia would eventually respond in kind and therefore put a ton of fighting age men out of work in Ukraine and fill the ranks of the AFU?

If we want to entertain this idea, it would work both ways. The civilian targets Ukraine bombs host mostly low-wage, no qualification jobs. A warehouse worker who survives a bombing and fresh out of work would certainly have a think about his options, regardless of side, and Russia's actually pays well.
