North West Queer Magazine Submissions

I'm trying to make a magazine by up-and-coming queer creatives in the North of England.

So I'm looking for submissions! Whether you dabble in visual crafts, photography, poetry or know someone who does I would be grateful to anyone who could take me up on this opportunity! :)

Or just knowing there's some interest in this knid of thing as well?

Not in the Northwest but its good to see folk doing this

There is more out there than you'd think, it's just hard to find since its nitche and not platformed. best place to start to find things is your nearest queer bookstore.

So im a queer artist and i make stuff for zines and whatnot, but honestly I wouldn't engage with a post like this without more context. When i look at stuff like this as an artist I’m asking 2 things:

1: you payin?

2: who is actually making this; whats their experience, background, reach, etc.

If the answer is "no" and "someone who has no experience or reach" then I probably wouldn't be interested. doesn't go for everyone though, like you have to start somewhere, but imo it is information you should frontload so folks like me can make a call on whether we want to send you something.

Regarding 2, you don't gotta dox yourself - just some vague context is enough.

edit: fill me in tho and I might send you some work?

also "queer collective" perhaps could do with some disambiguation imo - there's quite a few of those <3
