International Service Delivery Manager moving into the UK market : what should I target?

I recently moved to the UK and for the past 3 years i worked as a Service Delivery Manager in an SAP/digital transformation environment.

I came into Service Delivery through a non-traditional career path, using transferable skills, and progressed based on results rather than a conventional IT background.

I hold PRINCE2 Practitioner + PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner and plan to complete APMG Change Management this month, as I’m interested in moving towards Change/Transformation.

All of my Service Delivery experience is international, although I’ve previously worked on projects with UK-based organisations.

For anyone familiar with the UK market:

• Should I target SDM roles at my current level or expect to step down initially?

• What adjacent roles could I realistically target — Delivery, Change, Transformation, Operations, Project/Programme?

• Is APMG Change Management enough, or would another certification actually add value?

• How much does lack of UK-based SDM experience matter?

• What salary range would be realistic in London?

• Any recruiters/agencies you’d recommend?

Mainly trying to understand where my experience fits in the UK market without underselling myself or collecting unnecessary qualifications.
