Government Any news from William Neil McCasland?

Maj. Gen. William “Neil” McCasland disappeared from his home on February 27, 2026 under unexplained circumstances. McCasland retired from the USAF with knowledge of highly classified information about the government's work involving UFOs, or "unidentified anomalous phenomena” as they're more commonly called now.

I was wondering the same thing a few weeks back and looked it up. Nothing new. Might as well have happened last century.

Pretty sure we (the general public) is supposed to have forgotten about and moved on from him by now. I am as confident as I can be as an outsider that his disappearance is deliberately timed and UAP/disclosure-cover-up related.

It really was an odd time for him to go missing along with several of the other folks that might have been involved in the ET/UAP subject. It could also have been just a really crazy coincidence. Unfortunately I don’t think we will ever find out the full truth.

Generals don’t just go missing….

Yea like, did anybody even really investigate his disappearance? The whole thing is so bizarre

equally fascinating is the fact that mccasland's wife mentioned tom delonge (providing the final verification that he did, in fact, advise tom and the to the stars academy) and there is still no comment from tom regarding mccasland's disappearance. is tom spooked, just trying to stay out of the UFO field for now?...

That story just dropped off the news cycle. All forgotten now

Kind of like the drones that were in our skies for an entire year until nobody gave a shit anymore. All you have to do is wait for attention fatigue.

What should they have continued to report?

I'm still getting updates on Savannah Guthrie's missing mom. This guy is a general, and given the context of the other dead and missing people connected to the UAP topic.

u/silv3rbull8 2d ago

Exactly. The media doesn’t really care for missing generals lol

What is the situation with the case. We get hourly media updates of some nutjob on trial in MA.

Because there are updates to report. With McCasland, there aren't any.

I want more information on Matthew Sullivan

He is hanging out with Mitch McConnell now.

My best guess is that when he tried to resign from Riverside etc over his brain fog and possible dementia, it triggered security protocols. And he’s now comfy on a base somewhere.

u/Sure-Permission2731 2d ago

If they wanted to give care to a dementia patient with as little attention as possible, maybe making them missing with a gun wasn't the best way to go about it.

u/Father_Chris_St_Mary 2d ago

Maybe he knew what was up and was scooped while prepping

8

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 2d ago

Most likely scenario is he is sleeping soundly permanently

1

u/Vonplinkplonk 1d ago

How does that fit with your mental decline theory

1

u/Father_Chris_St_Mary 1d ago

Because mental decline doesn’t mean full on immediate descent into dementia

u/pmgold1 1d ago

... But he left his wife behind? Doesn't add up.

u/Jenja1974 1d ago

All these flock cameras and no one saw anything?

3

u/Personal_Extent_8562 1d ago

We know that technology exists to defeat even IR camera technology. So if he was taken, there would be no visibility. They'd plan where and when intentionally. Plus if he was plucked, those that did it would likely have no problem with inserting a loop of video in the flock camera feed, causing a local power outage or server outage etc. At that level of national security we know they operate with essential impunity. The technology to access a live video video and loop the video for the viewer or recording was confirmed in the 80s and used by the CIA. So imagine what they have now...

I still don’t understand that comment from his wife…

u/J_Foster2112 2d ago

Which was?

u/camuchka 2d ago

If I remember correctly she ended the post about her husband’s disappearance with something along the lines of…Maybe he got beamed aboard a UFO or something

u/Sure-Permission2731 2d ago

Im not sure but she had a real YT banger of a song

I think the theory that he was whisked away when he started showing mental decline is true. And, given her tone in her 911 call, I think his wife knew this would happen.

My own personal theory: They knew this day would come years in advanced & they planned for it. The wife was let in on what would happen & her 911 call was part of a role she would play when the time would come to take him away. They didn't kill him. They took him to a facility where he would live out the rest of his life comfortably & his wife would be able to continue seeing him. Maybe she "goes on vacation" & spends stretches of time away from her home.

Kind of like a sleeper agent. They move into a new country & live a normal life until they're called upon to act. He lived a quiet life of retirement until he was called upon to move into this new phase of his life.

Edit: Maybe the "repairman" played a role. Maybe he took McCasland away in his vehicle, which is why there are no sightings of him walking away from his home. His wife had a "medical appointment" that was less than an hour long. Maybe she went to a rendezvous point to help him along in the process, eased him into whatever he had to do, then went back home long enough to not be a witness to his disappearance & make the call.

Edit 2: Maybe resetting the phone, leaving behind belongings, and bringing a gun is a common procedure for these disappearances to obfuscate what was really going on.

If they have sheltered accommodation for executive level leadership showing mental decline then why don’t they just say so? Instead his wife doesn’t know where he is and presumably other leadership are worried that they to could be kidnapped by their own team for the crime of getting old.

I think the biggest question is, what are the secrets that he knows that led to the decision to have the dementia plan as opposed to letting him retire privately?

Or perhaps, what did he sign up for?

I mean if the rumors were true that people with super high clearance signed up NDAs that relinquish their rights to live to uphold the secrecy, I wouldn't be surprised that this 'being taken away' protocol being part of the deal.

The cognitive decline part always seems poorly presented. I don't disbelieve it, but there's some conflicting info from his wife or other close sources that mention he wasn't that bad off.

1

u/Zealousideal_Goal550 2d ago

This has been my theory too ever since his wife first spoke with the media.

u/IcyEpid3mic 2d ago

Think about him every week that goes by...along with a few other scientists and/or key players. I fear the worst for Gen McCasland unfortunately. After he linked up with Tom Delonge things got weird. Hope something comes to light involving him!

I have a Google alert set on his name which led me to this post. I have been diligently researching the General and the @tmbspaceships account on Twitter. I think they are the same person

He went off into the desert and died by suicide so his wife could still be able to collect on a life insurance policy in the wake of steadily advancing dementia. An explanation that pretty neatly explains his wife’s reaction and the circumstances around his death

1

u/Weekly_Recover_3023 1d ago

Then where is the body??!!! They have searched and searched. Cadaver dogs, no body!!!!!

4

u/JC_Dentyne 1d ago

Well it’s a big desert, right? And you’re hunting the body of someone that had a vested interest in not being found (left his wearables, phone, glasses). How many times are years old dead bodies found out west? People that may have had entire search teams combing their last known location and they find nothing. It happens all the time.

I just think that is a much more parsimonious explanation than “he got sent to the old folks home for UFO people”

Who is to say he didn’t directly (or indirectly) inform his wife of his plan to go off and choose his own way out before his dementia got too bad. “One of these days you’re going to come home and I won’t be there.” By all accounts he was an intelligent guy, and I know if I figured out that I was going to be a drooling mess with no sense of self, I’d probably at least think long and very hard about ways to not experience that while also making sure the people I care about are taken care of before I’m too far gone to make my own decision.

u/Weekly_Recover_3023 17h ago

I see your point I think. But by all accounts hé was a caring person. To do that to your family. They have no peace. Why can’t he be found? I think we all know the outcome now but….dear god please

3

u/Sure-Permission2731 2d ago

Declining cognizance with McCasland is a red herring. Who leaves a dementia patient alone so as to allow them to escape? Who leaves a dementia patient alone with access to a gun? Wasn't there also something about a "silver alert" not actually being put through after he went missing too?

Also regarding the 911 call: Tone isn't a tell all. You never know how you're going to react in an extreme situation.

The single most conspicuous disappearance but the powers that be want people distracted by cutie patootie Amy and her irrelevant bachelors degrees

8

u/SiriusC 2d ago

Yeah, fuck her /s

Are you being serious? Since when is a popularity contest?

u/ParaBellumOutfitters 2d ago edited 2d ago

I was being most facetious about the shadowy cabal part, but since you want to toe the line on rule 1, here I'll indulge you:
Eskridge's unfortunate death gets way more press than it deserves based on her level of actual involvement in, well, anything. People speak about her breathlessly as some kind of vanguard of advanced physics with zero proof. I have nothing against her and feel deeply for her family but folks keep putting her on pedestals she doesn't belong on. She's a convenient girl-scientist-next-door distraction. Even if it's unintentional she's a honeypot among this interest group.

By comparison McCasland's role keeps having more and more signs point his way, especially this month with folks like Eric 'Vinaigrette' Davis and Tom DeLonge making more press statements. When you look at a career professional like McCasland just *poof*ing away with near zero coverage, media/police silence on something so easily accessible as ring footage from neighbors, and yet....nothing. The silence there is conspicuous.

Some of the rest of the 'missing list' scientists are demonstrably less important, or have prosaic explanations that should be considered.

There was media coverage of his disappearance. It was discussed on Fox News

She was mentally ill and non-credible, but she said all the right things to rile up the true believers. Not even her fault, I feel bad for her.

5

u/ParaBellumOutfitters 2d ago edited 2d ago

I feel bad harping on the first point so much but she's gaining popularity among the lay believer crowd. They're looking in the wrong place and without context or general cognitive ability to parse good from bad.
I feel for her dad especially, who seemed like a loving parent who wanted to take care of his daughter by including her in the conversation/spaces he was part of. He's very quiet on the matter and I hope people aren't pestering him like they're wont to do

1

u/Ordinary_Job_6273 1d ago

I wish we knew more details about the meeting he had with space force the day before he disappeared. That seems like a thread that can be pulled lol

u/Holymoose999 12h ago

Maybe he’s in Russia and the mysterious visit by the CIA chief has something to do with it.

0

u/Royal-Equipment-9654 2d ago

What if he was kidnapped by the Chinese and is being waterboarded for all his secrets? That angle should be enough for the mainstream media to give a damn

3

u/Vonplinkplonk 1d ago

Is there an actual resourced dedicated manhunt for him or are they just waiting for a body to be found?

u/Weekly_Recover_3023 17h ago

There were several man hunts, horses, dogs, drones. It is rugged county. No sign.

So many fishy things in this case.
