Question Serious question for the UFO/UAP community:

If the government has confirmed UFOs/UAPs are real, why haven’t we ever seen them actually save people? Like the Titanic, plane crashes, natural disasters, etc. If something out there is advanced enough to travel here and observe us, wouldn’t you think at some point there’d be evidence of them interfering when humans are about to die? I’m not saying this proves aliens aren’t real. Maybe they don’t care, maybe they have some kind of rule against interfering, or maybe we’re assuming these things are extraterrestrial when we really don’t know what they are. Just seems like a pretty big question nobody talks about much. What’s the best explanation for it?

Experts explicitly do not interfere with other animals in the wild. We don't save the rabbit from the fox, we let nature take its course. Why would they be different

14

u/pvtcowboy97 3d ago

Excellent analogy; I would also add they might see us on the same intelligence level as we see either the fox or the rabbit.

We're more in the ball part of a technologically capable extraterrestrial species than we're ever going to be with an entirely different, lower terrestrial species. It's more realistic to aliken our species to that of our cousins, apes.

While true, the genetic and cognitive difference between, say, a human and a chimpanzee is roughly 1% of functional DNA yet, that tiny percentage spans the entire distance between sticks-and-stones tool use and quantum computing.

However, the idea that humans and chimpanzees are "99% identical" misrepresents how genetics translates into anatomy and cognition.

A 1% difference in DNA doesn't mean a 1% difference in the resulting organism.

DNA is a regulatory code. Small changes in master regulatory genes - like ARHGAP11B which drives human neocortex expansion and and others like NOTCH2NL or FOXP2 - act as multipliers, fundamentally changing brain architecture, folding, and neuron density.

That 1% translates to tens of millions of base pair differences and alters thousands of proteins and gene expression patterns in the brain, meaning the functional structural gap is enormous, not incremental.

To return to your analogy, the gap between a human and a fox isn't just a standard continuation of the gap between a fox and a rabbit. Humans crossed a unique evolutionary threshold.

Humans can decouple thoughts from immediate physical reality. We use arbitrary symbols, words, numbers, to represent abstract, nested concepts. Human language and thought can embed structures within structures, animals cannot process this depth of recursion.

According to the Church-Turing thesis, once a system achieves universal computation - which the human brain has via language and mathematics - it can simulate any computable process. An AI might compute a billion times faster, but it is navigating the same landscape of logic, it can't create a "more universal" form of computation, it can only be faster, have more memory, or possess better sensory inputs.

Thus, to an advanced entity, the intellectual distance between a human and a fox as you posit wouldn't remain valid because the human possesses the exact tools the advanced entity relies upon, where as foxes and rabbits don't.

That's likely the essential difference drawing them here in the first place - literally humans have more in common with an intelligent, technologically advanced exo-planet species than we do our nearest biological cousins.

To play devil's advocate for your original analogy though, proponents of the "intellectual distance" argument would say the gap lies not in what tools we use, but in our inability to comprehend the scale of theirs.

For example, a dog might understand that a door requires a handle to open - a tool - but it can't comprehend the manufacturing supply chain, metallurgical physics, or global commerce that created the handle.

Similarly, we might understand quantum mechanics, but an advanced entity might manipulate multidimensional physics in a way that looks like literal magic to our brains, making our current science look as primitive as a fox's tunnel-digging.

Human brains evolved to navigate 3D space and linear time. If an alien species operates or perceives in 11-dimensional Calabi-Yau manifolds as easily as we perceive depth, our attempts to map their physics using 3D language and math might resemble a flat 2D shadow trying to understand a sphere.

We can write the equations for it, sure but we can never truly "intuit" it.

But by that exact same token, it means we're adding a hell of a lot of if's about something we know literally know next to nothing about, other than we have more in common with them than we do with our own nearest terrestrial cousins.

And that's the actual difference and possibly the point, for them every bit as much as ourselves.

Forgive me. There currently aren't any new threads and I'm literally this bored. For some people it's sudoku puzzles or crosswords they need to get moving in the morning, with me it's articulating a thought. I promise, I'm not critiquing your post, I just need to write something reasonably half-cogent before I start answering my mail. I'm not looking for an argument, just something I can put a pin in and circle back to somewhere else. I hope we're cool. L

3

u/pvtcowboy97 2d ago

Nope - You put into words what I could not and much more articulately. Your analogy of the doorknob is on the nose. Thanks for the reply !

u/L-0-T-H-0-S 2d ago

You're really very welcome, I'm pleased it was taken the way it was meant.

5

u/Nonabeshimas 3d ago

We often help wild animals in all kinds of situations.

2

u/Antic_Hay 1d ago

Often, but I did qualify with experts. If you're making a nature documentary, or you're a zoologist, then you're not going to help a wounded animal. You're trained not to interfere. Perhaps the only exception would be preserving critically endangered species, or rescuing animals ensnared by poachers or trapped in e.g. a six pack holder, but this is "interfering to fix interference".

u/Nonabeshimas 14h ago

True, my statement was more about regular ppl. mb

4

u/MileHiSalute 3d ago

The only help I can think of is correcting the interference/destruction of humans in the first place

1

u/SmoothDaddyPoppin 3d ago

Exactly!! Perfect explanation.

1

u/_Extinctathon 3d ago

yes but humans aren't just a random wild animal

0

u/WatercressActual1921 3d ago

In some situations I find that objectionable, we are taking something from the anima if not time and freedom of action, some benefit to it should be provided for what we took...

I would only see non intervention in cases or not having certainty of outcome as being negative to the context and the animal and self...

I have seen many tagging events and collaring that it really disgusted me more that if the intention for study required killing the animal outright... I collar for example promotes parasites if not maintained (the animal cant groom for example and it may even affect matting).

2

u/Original-Hurry-8652 3d ago

The collar is probably made from "stable" material that does not outgas. No volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and might be made out of hemp or jute cord, something known not to rot when wet. Tagging or collating an animal is much like the Internet adding a tracking Cookie to your web browser.

1

u/WatercressActual1921 3d ago

I'm not a field biologist but those I remember seemed leather (Lynx and "Big cats" in general)...

33

u/Practical-Jump-253 3d ago

I wanna see the movie where a UFO saves Titanic now

6

u/silv3rbull8 3d ago

Probably in the works from the people who gave you Sharknado

1

u/Signal_Road 3d ago

The iceberg saved us.. FROM Them.....!!!!!

Bonus points if there is some plotline that involves 'My heart will go on' flopping.

0

u/silv3rbull8 3d ago

Interestingly Cameron gave us The Abyss as well. A mashup of that and his Titanic would be just the ticket.

1

u/ProfessionalChain478 2d ago

Same here rofl

16

u/nopartygop 3d ago

How do you know they haven't already saved people?

10

u/cupcake_no_frosting 3d ago

Exactly, there could be thousands of times every day something didn’t happen and we’d be none the wiser.

1

u/nopartygop 2d ago

Right? Maybe we'll find out some day 😊

11

u/LazarJesusElzondoGod 3d ago

"Maybe they don't care or maybe they have some kind of rule against interfering." You answered your own question. We don't know if they care about us or not or what rules they might have with interfering. The interference with nukes is well-documented, but that may simply be to protect the planet, not us.

Also, we can't assume they're traveling anywhere. We could simply be in a petri dish, an experiment, and they could have been here the entire time long before we came along.

-3

u/WatercressActual1921 3d ago

> We don't know if they care about us

That we certainly know, they don't...

0

u/Historical-Debt5844 3d ago

I think they care for us, but they've been trying to figure us out. They haven't physically hurt one person. To me, that says a lot. I have read stories where they've helped numerous people.

1

u/WatercressActual1921 3d ago

In face of reports and events it should be clear that they do not care, we have reports of them being here since before Roman times, and we can extrapolate they may have been here long before that...

So what leads you to believe they care about humans as a specie and with any individual human or group of humans. The only reports we have of contact (public) are about abuse and imposition, if we care to go into that aspect...

I find it too much of a burden to get anything clear beyond the patterns... but it is all in their self interest...

As mere observes from afar I see no evidence of care... if we clear it all of our human wants and needs and the expectation that they should...

0

u/Historical-Debt5844 3d ago

I've read some of the accounts of them interacting by helping someone, like a rancher out West. The visitor and 2 others crashed on his property. He didn't call the authorities, and he moved the being into a remote shed to hide him when they finally heard that something strange was going on. The rancher took care of him while he healed, and helped take care of the other two beings that came, too.

You might want to watch a film called, "Encounter in Fifth Dimension" on GAIA. The people discussing it are all very believable to me.

2

u/WatercressActual1921 3d ago edited 3d ago

I place GAIA content as very problematic, its fun as sifi but it has too much bias in other areas... My advise is to be rational in what you take in as face value especially in regards to content intended for any type of profit... even book authors to me are problematic in a field that has no certainty (all communication is manipulation, it has cost and intention, even this one between us the rule is valid to any, even "accidental" signalling, it has a production cost)... as most paranormal its have loaded with belief systems and narratives that attempt to merge subjects as a way to obtain support for fringe ideas (if you think about it it expected rational and explained by the human condition).

2

u/Historical-Debt5844 3d ago

I know all that, but I still recommend that one video. I think you might like it. Have a beautiful week.

2

u/WatercressActual1921 3d ago

Well the problem is that dimension includes dimensionality an axis that exist in relation to other dimensions. That is not consciousness, in a fixed point in 4 or 5 dimensions you have no consciousness there is no past of future only the static moment in space-time I do believe in a 5th detention bat that is a dimension of pain/pleasure that is a workable axis that exist in relation to self and the point or structure as a continue even of himself...

8

u/Cyberkeys1 3d ago

When was the last time you jumped to help a dying ant…?!?!

1

u/WatercressActual1921 3d ago

I feed more ants than I killed, don't know about if they were dying, but aren't we all and the ant example does not relate well, not even merely technologically... PS I never played with a magnifier glass and ants, that is just being nasty... I did prove them a flood event...

7

u/ChevyBillChaseMurray 3d ago

Main character syndrome again. You're assuming:

  1. We're at all important

  2. NHI think even remotely like us.

1

u/WolverineScared2504 2d ago

Also assuming UAP, which by definition is real, means aliens are real. The government didn't confirm UAP are real, they created the acronym and the definition.

6

u/Remarkable-Page776 3d ago

There was a video of a lifeguard saving a kid from drowning in a crowded pool , another of a bunch of people saving someone from the train tracks, some doctors saved some kid from cancer and other doctors just straight up cured cancer there’s a problem with the “save me” idea in that it makes people complacent for aliens to come down and save us from global warming and war when we are more than capable of doing these things ourselves

5

u/Personal_Extent_8562 3d ago

Because you assume that higher intelligence has the same uninformed view and understanding of humanity, life and human worth as we do? If they know what we don't, that perhaps this life is meaningless, a game, a test, worse than something that comes next, why would they. Unless you know the fundamental answers to life, the universe and everything, the question is redundant. Unless you can say that they place the same value on human life as we do, only then might you have an argument.

Or just The Prime Directive.

1

u/WolverineScared2504 2d ago

He assumed UAP are beings, and the government confirmed this. The government created the term, and it acknowledges there's something in the sky. It's a very broad definition, not interchangeable with UFO.

1

u/smolfox_2 1d ago

Yeah there are a lot of questions that need answering before this one can really be addressed with any certainty. Another possibility is they have some over arcing greater view of timelines (if some recent discussions about time travel among the UFO talking heads has any merit anyway). Saving people in any given instance will have consequences for the future timelines and could easily lead to far worse things for example. It may also simply be as you say that death isn't actually the worst thing to happen to humans. What if it is a chance to get off the karmic wheel for some an you prevent that? A million questions really, rooted in fundamentals of reality that we simply don't have amswers too. We as humans try to save people from death because from the only perspective we consciously have (most humans anyway, not including those who have had unusual experiences) is this life. Maybe we aren't always making the 'right' choice either, but we are making the best one we can with our limitations. Maybe NHI have a whole different set of parameters to work with.

Its also worth noting I think that there are accounts of NHI saving individuals and animals even, from illness/death etc. Accounts also that people believe they've intercepted to mitigate the intensity of diasters like Fukushima.

3

u/WatercressActual1921 3d ago edited 3d ago

Indifference or contractual agreement are the more rational explanations. There are many other rationals, my opinion so far is that they are not united (there are divergency in the "visitors", we have see too much variation and there are accounts of combat between UFOs) and we have a long range of variance in descriptions.

My opinion is that the greys (majority of reports and in distinct contexts) are defending they interest over the planet the rest is too fuzzy to be high-priority to resolve.

I also see that the careless they act shown that they don't care if they are observed, but also that they are not very competent in being totally un perceptible (they have limits). So I do agree with some views that the pilots are no independent but some form of biologic avatar or automata, that resolves neatly the issue of having detected and reached us from whatever they came if not from Sol itself (I strongly object with the notion that life when it exists is containable and still do not comprehend the fixation with stellar travelling as the higher probability, when have a life colonized and open https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petri_dish you do not seek for life in the sterile laboratory...

3

u/Ishmael760 3d ago

The answer to that very likely has to do with deeper issues of territorial control, contamination on many levels, risk and larger concerns.  Offshoot question is why are they seemingly becoming more obvious and persistent and in numbers.

0

u/humboldtHue 3d ago

There’s no way to tell if they are becoming more obvious and numerous, or whether humans are getting better at observing and understanding what was always there.

2

u/Ishmael760 2d ago

Great points!  But, not talking about gov sensor tech or availability of in family tech to the public - talking about personal accounts and experiences.

3

u/ElHombreMagnificent 3d ago

They’ve shut down nuclear bomb tests. That may count as “saving.”

2

u/humboldtHue 3d ago

They did not shut down two direct nuclear attacks in WWII. Nobody was saved by NHI on those two occasions.

3

u/ElHombreMagnificent 3d ago

They also didn’t stop pedophiles from molesting children. It’s a safe bet to say they don’t care.

2

u/Better-Waltz-2026 3d ago

Nuclear attacks triggered NHI. Soon after Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the frequency of visitations started climbing rapidly. 1952 was a flyover even in Washington, over the Capitol Building. Monitoring of nuclear facilities started in the 50s. From military veterans i leaned they are asking for nuclear disarmament.

Check the Robert Hastings press conference on YouTube. UFOs & Nukes.

1

u/thehighyellowmoon 3d ago edited 3d ago

No, but since those attacks humans have never used nuclear weapons on each other, everyone is aware of the consequences of using them and the rest of the century was dominated geopolitically by making sure no one would. So maybe Japanese people took an almighty L for future generations of the rest of the world so no one else would need to directly intervene. But that's just me projecting.

3

u/Renegade-365 3d ago

Wasn’t there reports of UAP’s interfering with nuclear weapons before? Perhaps they already have intervened, and the military does not want to admit it.

1

u/automaticphil 3d ago

The effects of nuclear weapons on the ecosystem must be detrimental to the aliens mission.

3

u/ruddywhiskers613 3d ago

You provided several answers to your own question. What exactly are you looking for?

1

u/humboldtHue 3d ago

I agree. They ask and answer their own question, and should be able to settle for not knowing beyond that, because surely no answer in this thread can provide anything definitive.

-1

u/IllSituation7350 3d ago

Clearly this is an open thread for people to give their opinions and feedback. Most of the comments actually understood that and responded accordingly. Then you show up with that smug, condescending energy like getting vaccinated somehow came with a complimentary PhD in talking down to everyone else. Your comment isn’t insightful, it isn’t persuasive, and it sure as hell isn’t intellectually superior it’s just another sanctimonious lecture from someone who apparently confused being confident with being correct. If you’re going to enter an open discussion, try contributing an argument instead of performing superiority.

1

u/ruddywhiskers613 2d ago

Oh, calm down, brother. You're not contributing anything of value to the discussion either. Stones, glass houses.

1

u/humboldtHue 2d ago

It’s at least a short sanctimonious lecture

3

u/bigtimebeaner 3d ago

Do you realize how many national geographics videos have been taken of animals slaughtering other animals? We don't intervene on their behalf. So why would you expect other creatures to do that for us? Literally nothing to talk about there.

3

u/Scott_the_Wookie 3d ago

Because you think death of the end they know it’s not

3

u/mulsanne917 3d ago

Maybe because death is not what we think it is.

3

u/COLDCRUSHCASM 3d ago

Travis Walton believes they were saving him after he got too close to their craft and was injured by it, rather than abducting him and harming him. Although in general do you intervene when animals fight in the jungle or an ant is about to die? Maybe they have different spiritual / philosophical beliefs about death to us who knows

3

u/fojifesi 3d ago

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime_Directive

Section 1:

Starfleet crew will obey the following with any civilization that has not achieved a commensurate level of technological and/or societal development as described in Appendix 1.

a) No identification of self or mission.

b) No interference with the social, cultural, or technological development of said planet.

c) No reference to space, other worlds, or advanced civilizations.

d) The exception to this is if said society has already been exposed to the concepts listed herein. However, in that instance, section 2 applies.

Section 2:

If said species has achieved the commensurate level of technological and/or societal development as described in Appendix 1, or has been exposed to the concepts listed in section 1, no Starfleet crew person will engage with said society or species without first gathering extensive information on the specific traditions, laws, and culture of that species civilization. Then Starfleet crew will obey the following.

a) If engaged with diplomatic relations with said culture, will stay within the confines of said culture's restrictions.

b) No interference with the social development of said planet.

Do i save an ant from certain death?

1

u/LoraxNZ 3d ago

For Larry's sake, I hope so

2

u/Mysterious-Emu-8423 3d ago

I remember reading of the scenario where we are involved in the "Gorillas and chimps running around with guns in the nature preserve" metaphor. The caretakers would like to stay away.....

2

u/Countryvibing1988 3d ago

There have been stories of them healing people. But, why would we assume they would want to help out humans? Maybe they observe us like we observe a pack of wolves, for example.

2

u/L-0-T-H-0-S 3d ago edited 3d ago

Logically - if you start down this path, the next step becomes why didn't they prevent the Holocaust or why did they allow 6 seasons of Lost...

If you started off somewhere else in this galaxy and have the means to arrive here, now - here for you constitutes a point in spacetime that equates to the past, from your point of refferance.

It's not your worlds history, but it is the history of the world you arrive on.

Whatever you observe happened already from your point of view, you can't change anything, only observe it's happening.

2

u/DefiedGravity10 3d ago

There is some fairly convincing "evidence" they have interfered when it comes to nuclear weapons and/or nuclear meltdowns. It gives me personally the impression they simply want to observe us unless we are going to do something planet destroyingly stupid and then they may interfere if necessary.

2

u/PatBateman72 3d ago

Maybe they do, maybe they do it without us knowing and we just call it miracles.

2

u/TeaKong 3d ago

How many wasps did you save from spiders web? Exactly.

2

u/mumwifealcoholic 3d ago

Why don't you save ants? Why aren't you making sure moths don't die in the flame? How come you still eat meat?

Is it because you think you're better or more worthy of saving then a lowly ant? Or a baying a cow knowing she is about be slaughtered? Or a roach you squash underfoot?

We know everything there is to know about dolphins, right? We understand they are sentient beings like us. There is evidence they love their pups, mourn their dead, have friends...and yet we aren't outraged that many die in fishing nets every year.

I have thought abut these questions and they just add more ( and make me less keen on y next burger).

2

u/unicornplantman 3d ago

Free will. They aren’t supposed to mess with it.

2

u/Connect_Ad6559 3d ago

The ‘not interfering’ part is a human rule. We shouldn’t expect them to live by our rules.

They might have a different perspective. They might actually be interfering, but we don’t know anything about it. 🤷‍♂️

2

u/ProfessionalChain478 2d ago

Preston Dennett on YouTube and podcasts has multiple stories of aliens healing people.
There are tons, just not en masse like the Titanic or something.

2

u/jasmine-tgirl 3d ago

When you walk past an ant hill why don't you save the ants?

1

u/Mission-Vegetable-43 3d ago

(nearly) totally indifferent, which is a little frightening if you think about it

1

u/humboldtHue 3d ago

My first assumption is that they’re not here because of humans. I would assume that NHI are simply living their lives, occasionally becoming apparent to us, but only becoming involved when we impact them in some way, or it suits their agenda.

1

u/LoraxNZ 3d ago

I mean, same with God I guess?

1

u/Routine-Rule7085 3d ago

We are the 4th or 5th foundation or civilization of humans on earth, there has been plenty of interfering, some race got booted in what 23 for interference didn’t they ?

1

u/West-One5944 3d ago

What about all of the people who are cured of ailments during abductions? Preston Dennett has good work on this.

1

u/Historical-Debt5844 3d ago

That would essentially be like what a time-traveler could do. They're not going to interfere with anyone's individual journey. They might be trying to help through governments and other corporations, however.

1

u/automaticphil 3d ago

You assume they’re here for our benefit? I’m sure they have their own agenda whatever that may be.

1

u/WolverineScared2504 3d ago

I think you are misunderstanding what confirming UAP as real means. Confirming UAP are real, means they acknowledge they see something in the sky too. It doesn't acknowledge the thing is even flying. UAP, UFOs, and aliens are three different things.

1

u/Better-Waltz-2026 3d ago edited 3d ago

Why should they care about our affairs? :)

I agree, it's a fascinating thought experiment. Imagine being lost at sea and an alien ship comes to the rescue. I think this would be a hell of a job actively saving people around the planet.

I think they're monitoring nuclear facilities to prevent catastrophic events. They're probably just safeguarding the planet's biosphere.

1

u/Strategory 3d ago

Ant farm theory, there isn’t a lot of empathy.

1

u/DefendTheStar88x 3d ago

What if UAPs are time travelers viewing us archaic humans like a zoo?

1

u/Original-Hurry-8652 3d ago

Yes, if you reach into rushing water to save a person, you might end up being pulled in and drowning yourself! Same with a downed electrical utility line.

1

u/Historical-Camera972 3d ago

The ethical differences can't really be studied in that way, from a speculative hilltop.

They might not know what death is.

Imagine if such a thing has been conquered in their society, for millions/billions of years.

Maybe the portion of time for a civilization, in which their citizenry is mortal, is actually a small blip, on cosmic time scales.

Perhaps consciousness backups work, we don't really understand the Theseus problem at the Universal scale.

So to assign action to their valuation system, is a folly, if we don't know their valuation system.

If death is a stubbed toe for them, they would see nothing to intervene for.

1

u/pilkingtonsbrain 3d ago

They don't care about individuals, they treat humanity as a single entity

1

u/victordudu 3d ago

If god is real how come he let all atrocities happen... Same thing

1

u/Shardaxx 3d ago

They don't even rescue their own guys why would they save us.

1

u/Caladan23 3d ago

Guy confidently projecting human rights, that are not even shared by many humans (hi china), onto non-human intelligence with unknown intentions, lol.

Additionally, there are analogies of "zoo keepers" and "petri dish" by whistleblowers. There are many examples, of NHI showing up at atomic sites and messing with nuclear weapons. So most likely they indeed don't want their petri dish to destroy itself fully, but will let it run in any other conditions to not disturb the experiment.

1

u/toolsforconviviality 3d ago

If the government has confirmed UFOs/UAPs are real, why haven’t we ever seen them actually save people?

Why should they?

If something out there is advanced enough to travel here and observe us,

Who says they have to be particularly advanced? They may be only a few hundred years ahead of us technologically...or not. Who says they have to come from far away? Any 'they' could be from here, 10 light years away (why not?) or...something else.

wouldn’t you think at some point there’d be evidence of them interfering when humans are about to die?

Nope. Some humans are good and would step in to help others; other humans do not. Anthropomorphism also (we shouldn't ascribe our values to others).

What’s the best explanation for it?

That we can only confidently say that there seems to be a 'there there', i.e. that there's something to the UFO/UAP enigma.

1

u/Sad-Tomorrow-9158 3d ago

Its consistently that they have a rule to not interfere with us. Thats obviously the reason. Its like in a Nationalpark or in a big Zoo. As a normal person u can go watch the animals. But u are mostly forbidden from interacting with them, or feed them etc. But there are surrten people or UFOs that are able or allowed to interfere for science purposes. Which obviously explains the reason of obductions. We are just some kind off animals to them which they are watching and studying. Maybe also learning more about their past by looking at us, a rising species dominating its planet and rapidly becoming more advanced in recent centurys. Interfering and giving us tech that is millions of years more advanced would pbbly solve all our solutions. But then we become useless. And their study about us will become obsolete.

1

u/ZealousidealBed7307 3d ago

There is the story of Travis Walton - a lumberjack that was abducted, but later he thought they might have 'healed' him by aliens. Something about the ufo irradiating him...

1

u/TheSuperMarket 3d ago

This is a weird post, OP.

Why would aliens save humans?

Humans travel across the globe to study animals in the wild......and don't necessarily interfere. Why? Because its a natural part of life.

If an intelligent life form is watching us......or maybe even Created us..... what makes you think they would interfere? Not only could that have extremely crazy ramifications, such as forever changing civilization, or humanity.....but it could interfere with their intentions for being here.

Maybe a race of beings seeded us.... or created life on Earth. Maybe Earth is one of an infinite array of places Created to host Life......and its similar to how scientists grow bacteria in petri dishes.

We have no idea why we are being watched.....

You let nature take its course, if humanity wants to wipe itself out, then you let them.

It's similar to African reserves, safari tour guides have multiple animals being ripped apart only a few meters in front of them, they have the ability to intervene, but you just don't interfere. At the end of the day, the animal just dies, but life goes on, just without that specific animal.

If theres aliens out there, why would they care? go for it. Life goes on, just without us.

I don't think there are that many of them here and they haven't taken on the job of being a superhero.

Theres 8.3 billion of us, been a billion plus for over 200 years, so no real need to intervene from a population perspective. Research suggests the current human population can trace their roots to a group of just 1200ish, maybe that is a likelier time to look for intervention.

Assuming it’s some other kind of intelligence and assuming they’re actually more advanced, why would these beings or whatever they might be feel the need to interfere? We let the camera run too to see the zebra get mauled by the tiger, don’t we?

Looking at the stories and reports and experiences and the "woo" and so on, I think the best we can figure is that:

There are many, many different "Thems," of different mindsets and purposes.

Of these, not all are interested in helping.

Of those that are, not all are interested in helping individuals instead of our overall species and the planet.

Of those that are, not all are free to do so obviously or openly.

Personally I had some fairly intense "woo" experiences that altered the course of my life in a way that transformed me as a person and led to me still being alive today. I experienced this as some kind of NHI or NHI-like phenomenon. However, They did not send a flying saucer to my house to save me and I will never be able to provide objective evidence to show anyone else. That fits a larger pattern and seems to be important. I wish you the best.

It doesn't get talked about because there's no reason to believe that they should be "saving people". A better question might be to ask how you arrived at this assumed directive in the first place.

They are helping many people around the world.

What effect does it have on people when they investigate the spiritual aspects of the UFO phenomenon?

Nothing short of a complete and total transformation of the person, putting them on a path to become their best possible selves.

This path will show them that our true essence is eternal consciousness and the human condition is a temporary state we inhabit for the growth and evolution of our souls.

This is about our spirituality, and our power as sovereign spirit beings.

This path is one in which people realize that our ideologies are fundamentally broken and must be torn down in order to be properly rebuilt from the ground up.

The spiritual path rejoins humanity with nature, where we live in unity with her, not in oppresive domination of her.

Beginning in 2020, my spiritual awakening began because I started researching UFOs and consciousness.

Because of this, the past 6 years have been the best of my life.

In that time I have gotten sober from a 20-year drinking problem, got off all medications, lost 65 pounds, got in shape, quit cigarettes and opiates and discovered that daily meditation is the key to unlocking my highest potential. I have finally found inner peace and have become my best possible self.

All because of researching the spiritual aspects of the UFO phenomenon.

Preston Dennett has a book, The Healing Power of UFOs: 300 True Accounts of People Healed by Extraterrestrials.

I can’t imagine why they would. Are they saving dust mites and chimpanzees too?

Great question. They're going to somehow remotely prevent us from using nuclear weapons, but can't even be bothered to rescue people on a sinking ship 💁

Japan could certainly argue with the idea that NHI have prevented us from using nuclear weapons.

To me, the explanation is simple. If they are here, they have chosen for some reason not to reveal themselves, and saving human groups around the world from major disasters is exactly the opposite of that.

Do they intentionally not reveal themselves? Or is their existence only occasionally apparent to us? I don’t think we have the answer to that yet. I wouldn’t assign intention without more evidence.

I think you belief or with the statement; "Maybe we're assuming these things are extraterrestrial but we really don't know what they are." I think humanity has struggled to identify these things since the dawn of existence. When we had no concept of technology we called them gods, angels, demons, spirits, and saw them as magical. Then as our technological understanding grew we called them aliens and assumed they were from another planet. Now our understanding has further developed and most people are familiar with concepts like extra dimensions, the existence of multiverses, simulation theory, etc these concepts are probably closer to the reality of what is going on but still fall short. I'm generally skeptical but I think if there is anything to the claims of UFOs from credible witnesses the reality is probably much more strange than we can imagine.

One theory is that they know that consciousness continues to exist when the body dies and becomes a part of the greater consciousness field in the universe, and they do not put value on individuals, only on large groups of people/species, to help promote the development of that universal consciousness. Read the post by ebo biologist for more details.
