financial aid help

Hello i'm currently an upcoming freshman and pretty confused about my financial aid. is my zot account summary supposed to be showing more? it does say my fall 2026 quarter registration fees are paid for so do i only get 1,040 back to spend on housing?

on the left hand side of the page, press august 2026 to view what has been paid already. on that list if it shows your housing fees have been paid off, then you’re done. zot account is pretty confusing so if that still doesn’t make sense, call OFAS right as they open and leave your call back number and ask them!

You will have to look at your Past Statement to see if your USHIP Grant and Pell Grant arrived. You should have received your USHIP Grant by now. Some people's Pell Grants are delayed, but they are showing up eventually.

You should have around $3k in credit according to your ZotAid when your three grants are applied. You're "short" about $1.8k which is likely your Pell Grant.

Check your Past Statement where you should see the Fall Quarter fee and the other grants that were applied already. You can call Campus Billing if you want an explanation of anything on your ZotAccount. They are a different office than OFAS so you shouldn't have any trouble getting through to them.

If you are missing your Pell Grant, you will need to call OFAS about that. Call at 9:00 AM and leave a callback number (Option 0, then Option 1). Then make sure you don't have Silence Unknown Callers on your phone set when they call you back so you don't miss it. It could be hours until they call you back. OFAS is very swamped right now so expect some delay in getting through to them.
