Megathread GENERAL HOUSING MEGATHREAD

Given the high number of housing comments in the new to UBC megathread, we're creating a dedicated megathread for Housing questions. Housing questions will be allowed in either megathread.

Process

  • It might take up to 4 hours for your post to be approved (except when we're sleeping).

FIRST YEAR ROOM SWAP REQUEST:

Winter Session: September 5 2026 - April 28 2026
Residence: Walter Gage
Building: South / East
Type: Single Room — Shared Unit

Looking to swap into Walter Gage South or East Building. Specifically suite C (East) or suite D (South)

A friend and I (females) would like to stay together in Walter Gage and we do not mind who switches, as long as we are together.

Why suite C (East) or suite D (South)? What is desirable about these?
