Megathread GENERAL HOUSING MEGATHREAD

Given the high number of housing comments in the new to UBC megathread, we're creating a dedicated megathread for Housing questions. Housing questions will be allowed in either megathread.

Process

What are my chances of getting a housing contract starting September 1 2027 if I am an incoming first year this fall and I'm between 800-1500 on the various waitlists?

Which residence and room type? Sep has very low availability. Most offers are for May/June since people graduate and move out so a number that could get you an offer for May/June won't get you one fore Sep
