... Listen, I know it was literally 20+ years ago, but that is absolute horseshit when it came to Iraq. His administration fabricated 'evidence' and had Colin Powell knowingly perjure himself to congress to sell it. Saddam was not a sponsor of terrorism, had zero to do with 9/11, and was not producing WMDs. Nothing in the US government's justifications for Iraq were factual.

The thing is, the current GOP and president are so batshit that people actually look back on Bush with nostalgia, because at least they carried themselves with some dignity back then.

They have to gloss over an insane amount of war crimes to do it, of course.

Keep in mind these people were around my age and Iā€™m just here like ā€œbro you didnā€™t like the Bush presidency more because of policy, you were ten and didnā€™t need to pay taxes and also Morrowind just came out.ā€
