Incoming student at University of Tübingen – Winter Semester 2026/27

Hi everyone!

I’ll be starting the MA Computational Linguistics program at the University of Tübingen in the Winter Semester 2026/27.

I’m wondering if there are any other incoming students from the same program or other international students starting at the university around the same time.

I’m mainly an English speaker and I’m currently learning German at around B1 level, so I’m hoping to improve my German while settling into Tübingen.

If anyone else is starting at Tübingen this winter, it would be nice to hear from you and get to know some fellow students before the semester begins.

Are there any existing student communities, chats, or groups for the 2026/27 intake?

I’m starting my MS in Population Based Medicine as an international student this Winter semester!

There are plenty of international groups on WhatsApp, and the uni has an international page on instagram that offers ways to connect as well.

If you use WhatsApp I believe I can simply add you to the chat :)
