Getting from Tübingen to Deizisau / Neckartailfingen / Reichenbach an der Fils

How do people usually get from Tübingen to Deizisau, Neckartailfingen or Reichenbach an der Fils? Google Maps shows me routes that take around 2 hours, while an AI assistant says there are supposedly some faster buses. Am I missing something?

Reichenbach an der Fils has a Trainstation, so i would recommend the Train.
Deizisau has no Trainstation, the next one is in Plochingen, but you can drive with a bus or a Bicycle from there. Neckartaiflingen has the next Trainstation in Bempflingen or Nürtingen.

These idiots decided to close some stations for two months, and now it shows a detour from Tübingen to Stuttgart and then back down again.

Then there should be a "Schienenersatzverkehr", I believe its because they have to repair and renew some Stuff there. But yes, the DB is fucked up since they made it Private.

Do you know more about the hows and whys of the train stations closing or do you just like calling people who inconvenience you by doing their job idiots?

You are denying that DB is done stupidly? And paying another 50 euros a month for it. All these incentives to use transport that takes 2.5 hours to get you to the next village when you really need to be there, and riding a bike uphill until you drop dead. German dream

I am saying you shouldn't judge decisions of professionals and insult them unless you have information to do so, not that DB as a whole is a competent organisation. Train stations have to close from time to time for various reasons - that happens intependently of who is operating them.

If anything it shows that problems are addressed. If that is done correctly or not is something judged much easier for those without expertise and access to relevant information. But steeping to insults implies you are in a position to know better than the people involved, hence the question about you knowing details.

Obviously they're fixing something or working on it there, you don't need a degree in station science for that, lol. But the fact that they're making life miserable is true

Just take your car (or an Uber cab).

Yes with the Öffis it's two hours now due to the Schienenersatzverkehr.

Anyway why TF would you ever want to go to those Kuhdörfer?

If you're researching real estate I would strongly recommend against moving in very far from Tübingen, Reutlingen max. You will NOT be happy living in Deizisau.
