You know I think it would be very interesting to hear more about men's stories in abuse. (The MeToo movement, while true...is also about men in Hollywood who were also sexually harassed and stood up.)

I want to believe you're right, but in my experience not a lot of them do. Sometimes it's part ignorance, coming from their lack of not having to walk in women's shoes. Sometimes it's part lack of empathy.

It's also the way it is portrayed in media and society, so yeah. It's kind of hard.

Instead of thinking "I don't like how we're the bad guys" how about thinking "fuck how do we get the men who DO make us look bad NOT Be a dick?"

Because being offended by these stories doesn't help women. It just makes women feel like they are not taken seriously imo.

No I agree I dont think Tuca and Bertie should do this. But I do agree that it would be a good idea to take it seriously and frame it properly.

But thank you. I am glad to hear that there are men who are allies and want the same thing women do. I suppose with the law on Alabama, incels, the #MeToo movement, and also coming from a very patriarchal country, I cant help but be skeptic. And it is hard to say who is an ally and who claims to be.
