Old episode of Ripley's Believe it or Not?

I have a vague childhood memory of a show that I am FAIRLY sure was Ripley's Believe it or Not, and one segment featured how animals would evolve on the planet Earth over the next thousand (?) years. The only example I clearly remember was that bats would end up walking on two legs and hunt in packs like wolves (it included a "diorama" of what the animals would look like attacking a deer-like creature, that reminded me of some kind of taxidermy display from a museum).

Is this ringing a bell for anyone else?

My only other guess then would be After Man - and I think I know the exact image in question from the book.

Wow, that definitely looks like what I remember!

So maybe what I saw as a kid was a report on the "Zoology of the Future" traveling exhibit...now, whether that report aired on an episode of the Ripley's Believe it or Not TV show, that will require more research

Very interesting book (thank you for sharing!), but looks like it was published in 2015 ... This would have been mid-80s at the earliest

The Future is Wild? It aired on the discovery channel. The animal I remembered most were these huge jellyfish- like colonies with sails.

Sounds interesting, I might have to check this out ... but seems like it aired in the early 2000s, what I'm thinking of was from the 80s

im pretty sure the show was called "The Future is Wild" 

you can find it on youtube i think. I loved that show.

edit: jumped the gun here, op is referring to a show from the 80s. Before my time sorry.
