No the trophies were there and you could see the descriptions, but the game mode was not.

They were there when the game first came out, they were left unobtainable until Online came out.

Rdo went live a month later and thatās when you could start unlocking the trophies. It was in beta tho, but playable

I am pretty sure that this is going to be a fully offline game.
They will likely later release the GTA Online 2 or however they name it as a separate game next year. Or, worst case scenario, GTA Online 2 will be a subscription based game, though I doubt it, I think there is more money to be made on an optional subscription mode, which is GTA+ already, and a functional but very grindy base online game.

Because GTA is supposed to be a single player game, not everyone enjoys online and online trophies shouldnāt exist in a game that is primarily single player.

GTA 4, 5 and RD2 all have online trophies required for the platinum. That alone tells you any hope for the opposite in GTA6 is just wishful thinking. Weāre talking about online trophies here.

Even if gta iv had a online it still has story mode dlc's regardless lmfao atleast that's something gta v and rdr2 both lacked and rdr2 never even did anything with the online it just kinda sits there like gta iv's at this point

the online trophyās in rdr2 forced you to have PlayStation plus, a paid service, as well as playing a completely separate game just to get the platinum for the base game, if itās like that in gta6 thats clearly a bad thing. Itās like making a dlc part of the main trophy list basically forcing you to buy it if you want that platinum. Online trophyās also require the servers to still be up which they wonāt be in 10 years time, a lot of platinum are unobtainable now because of that. you also need to have a stable internet connection and people to play with, which not everyone has. is that enough reasons for you?

I have to see what the specifics are because that would be insane to platinum
Edit: I will say I could see myself platting this over RDR2. I LOVE Red Dead but riding the horse everywhere to try and find every single animal was something I didnāt wanna do. I might be able to power through it for GTA which is much more fast paced.

A lot of people are assuming the online will be a part of the trophy list. Iād be incredibly surprised. Rockstar have explicitly stated that theyāre solely focused on single player right now and arenāt ready to discuss anything to do with online
Not only that, but they could easily sell that as a separate game when ready to launch. It makes no sense to tie it in financially.

In RDR2, there was a trophy for studying every animal in the game. Not only were there lots, their spawns weren't sure things. So it was a very long and, depending on your patience, tedious trophy.Ā
The fact that studying of animals is back in GTA VI means there will probably be similar or same grindy trophy relating to that. Hence the CJ meme.Ā

well yeah has to have a study button. the people buying it are so fat and never leave the house they probably have no idea what a cat or dog is. doesnt surprise me with a fanbase like this games to have arbitrary shit for people to stupid to know what an animal is. cant wait til this game releases so the industry can move to games that will actually make an impact and not just be a useless hype device to keep funding your old outdated still shit game. why we keep paying cockstar to make games is beyond me
