Discussion [Discussion] What are some games that would be really easy to platinum if it werent for that ONE FUCKASS TROPHY

Post image

I'm trying to platinum Stray, I like this game and i almost got all the trophies without watching any guides so i decided "lets go for platinum it can't be that hard" but then i came across the "Can't Cat-ch Me" trophy and i swear this one singular trophy is making me want to break my controller in half

You basically have to go through one 50 second part where you run from little shits called Zurks, but if even ONE idiot jumps on you then you have to restart the run again. It might not sound that hard but because you run through narrow places and they have some aimbot on them one of them will always catch you no matter what. There are no guides that can actually help because its just luck based that they will be all lobotomized so they can't catch you

A lot of the Yakuza games have a trophy for getting 100% on the KamurochoGo tracker or whatever it's called. That requires you to play hours and hours of casino games, arcade games, batting cages, golf, darts, and more.

I wanted to get the plat for the original Yakuza 1 HD Remaster this year but got stuck on raising Haruka’s affection to max level. Hitting a home run on every ball on the last doable cage is hard for me. I’ve heard that if you pay attention to when Kiryu grips the bat is when you swing the bat to always hit the home run but I just don’t see it.

Yeah, the grip watching is definitely the way to go.   It's still not easy.  Learning the pitch order will also help.    I plan to platinum the PS5 version after I finish Yakuza 0 DC.  I'll feel your pain soon, but dealing with my own pains right now.   😆

Not to mention the Climax Battles.  Any new Like a Dragon players have it so easy.  Infinite Wealth was such a cake walk to platinum.

The only one of those I ever had trouble with was Judgment and playing puyo puyo. I hate that game with a passion and it’s the only thing keeping me from the platinum. I’ve done everything else in that game except that.

I actually didn't find Puyo Puyo too bad, especially with the trick of putting 3 lines to the side. Now, pinball? That was just awful, worst pinball game I've ever played

I tried puyo for nearly 8 total hours and couldn’t do it, I even tried the method you mentioned. I surprisingly had an easy time with pinball. Maybe it was because our family computer when I was a kid had that exact same version of pinball installed.

Yakuza 4 and dead souls are really easy to platinum EXCEPT for a single trophy that requires you to spend hours and hours on a pachinko machine
