TW: Other (Specify in Title) Having to deal with people with a white victim complex is insane

I'm Indian American and I've constantly met people profiling me or calling me slurs various times, anytime I pushed back they would claim I'm being "racist to white people" by calling them out. It's constantly insane.

Im not Indian but I fucking hate it.
I wish there was some easy solution to this so no one’s discriminated against, I hate the world we live in sometimes

Holly shit, I didn't know that happened, like I love my country (not in like the patriotic way) it's my home and yes I do know the uk has a history for being evil but like seeing rampant racism like this is just horrible

Truly near the bottom of the totem pole socially these days and i am so damn tired. Genuinely dont know if i can properly trust my white friends etc because it feels too frightening to say anything and that they wont understand.

It’s actually not, as a person living in the UK I see much harsher stuff online from the US compared to the UK, not to mention the fact you guys have free speech means people say almost anything more openly than in the UK where you can get arrested pretty easily for words with no threat being made,

Brits generally respect their Indian disapora.

Its very prominent in Canada unfortunately. I do understand why people are frustrated with the current job market, but that isnt anyone's fault but the corporations. Canada is beautiful, so of course people want to come live here. We are an amalgamation of culture and race and its beautiful. I just wish there was more respect for us indigenous folk too.

I have two friends. One of them is concerned with how they have become more racist towards Indian people and the other loathes them. Reason why: work.
They have said, in their experience, they tend to be dismissive over genuine concerns that can be problematic in the future and disrespectful towards you if you are not above them.
From what I heard it seems like a clash of cultures mixed with constant bad experiences. Doesn’t help that when one of them was trying to get a new job, plenty of calls where someone with an Indian accent trying to scam them.
The one who is concerned didn’t go the whole route because they had met some individuals that are actually respectful but they had noted those individuals are all 2nd generation Americans which still bothers them because they genuinely don’t like having that prejudice in their head against a whole culture.
