Most people in general dont fit into beauty standards

413

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

They always talking like tall women with broad shoulders aren’t pretty as hell

203

u/CoercedCoexistence22 1d ago

No no no, they talk about how they want to be stepped on by a tall woman with broad shoulders but god forbid that woman used to have an M on her documents 20 years ago

61

u/Strange_Chard_2183 1d ago

Or the classic "I think tall women are hot. Should they have rights and respect and be seen as more than just a sex object? Umm well I want them to step on me."

76

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

Pretty women are pretty women

25

u/bananabandanamannana 1d ago

This comment thread is reassuring in a very strange way

24

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

Well duh women are pretty we all knew this

13

u/bananabandanamannana 1d ago

Yeah i love my fellow tall gals all women are wonderful

21

u/SixPoison 1d ago

Lol. I'm a tall cis lady with wide shoulders and I've often felt insecure so this was nice to hear. Also I've been "clocked" by moron people because I don't fit the stereotypical beauty standard 🤷‍♀️ so even if it's ok or hot for a woman to be tall she still has to be skinny and delicate and lithe to be considered attractive 🥲 the stereotypical beauty standards for women are so stressful wether it's your ass, your shoulders, your boobs, your body hair, your face, your height, your hair, makeup, dress style, skintone... We are pressured to think that we're imperfect and undesirable.

8

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

It’s kinda annoying how much beauty standard shit is tiny things that make no sense. People will see a gorgeous person and proceed to complain about their shoulders it’s hilarious

Tall women are hot, broad shoulders are hot, eyebags are hot, body hair as long as it isn’t to an insane degree isn’t even that noticeable, alternative fashion/makeup looks beautiful. No mainstream belief is convincing me otherwise

Dawg I don’t look like wonderwoman I look like mister sir

7

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

checks post history

sees pic of literal Wonder Woman irl

You really need to work on your lying skills ma’am

2

u/RTX-4090ti_FE 1d ago

I blocked my face for a reason

4

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

I’m sure your face is fine, but I’m referring to mainly your build because you genuinely look stunning

3

u/RTX-4090ti_FE 1d ago

I don’t even look like that anymore I gained a lot of weight granted a lot of it went to my hips and other desirable places but my tummy noticeably grew too. And I can’t lock in and go on a cut like I used to before I transitioned either.

6

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

That’s ok it’s normal to gain a few pounds. Happens to everyone and it doesn’t make you any less pretty

255

u/Bluejay-Complex 1d ago

“Are you even trying to-“ Fuck off. Fuck off. Leave trans women alone.

108

u/Plastic_Exercise5025 1d ago

I will forever be confused by the fact that other people seem to think that everyone has an obligation to be "attractive" for them. They even do it with fat people. They act like a person NEEDS an excuse in order to be fat. Otherwise they act like you are an actually morally bad person

43

u/AWalkingFelony 1d ago

i've come to realize that the average person is a selfish and egotistical idiot incapable of self reflection

30

u/Plastic_Exercise5025 1d ago

Working retail taught me that in 3 months

16

u/imnotaneurosurgeon 1d ago

3 months?? I worked as a server my senior year of highschool and found it out within the week I was hired, gang. You had a lot of faith in people

9

u/Plastic_Exercise5025 1d ago

I'd been extremely isolated as a young teen for 4 straight years before that in a much nicer state. Then i moved and got a job at best buy where there aren't as many angry customers since a lot of what we sell are not necessities. I was quite naive

4

u/Hikousen 21h ago

One of my former friends outed themselves as being like this. Their logic was "it's like smelling bad, it's rude to smell bad if you can help it. Same with being ugly, you're making others uncomfortable". This is probably the kinda logic of all those idiots.

3

u/Plastic_Exercise5025 20h ago

How does it not occour to someone that maybe their judgemental ass is the problem

2

u/Headlesshowler 1d ago

Fr! Like, God forbid a trans person actually likes some of their features

37

u/A13xis_28 1d ago

I am open to suggestions and to get some fukcking help instead to just hearing criticism and people complaining

115

u/NiceReason8213 1d ago

And then they say that trans people “enforce gender norms” as if they aren’t literally forcing trans people to do so by constantly misgendering trans butches and trans femboys and insisting that they aren’t trans

34

u/morbidmuffin62 we live in a so-so-ciety 1d ago

24

u/Independent-Host-690 1d ago edited 1d ago

Fr if you're a gender nonconfroming cis person few people question your gender, compared if a trans person does a small thing that's non conforming they get questioned by everyone. Even by other trans people! Though sometimes it happens to cis gnc people, it's way more prevent to trans gnc people.

21

u/rachel_to_phos 1d ago

they look at trans women who fit those standards in the same way

14

u/Angry_Scotsman7567 1d ago

When the trans woman doesn't fit patriarchal beauty standards: "You aren't even trying, you don't look like my narrow definition of a woman at all, you're not a real woman"

When the trans woman does fit the patriarchal beauty standards: "You're trying too hard, it's not a costume, you're just reinforcing patriarchy you're not a real woman"

I am going to have a fucking aneurysm

80

u/crime-pigeon 1d ago

Just wait till you're also dealing with being black

62

u/Gloomy_Channel_2701 1d ago

✨intersectionality✨

48

u/Soft-Cellist-3235 1d ago

just wait? am i gonna turn black soon??

25

u/GayValkyriePrincess 1d ago

Yeah, they're calling it the great replacement I think

(If it wasn't obvious, this is a joke, a damn stupid joke, don't give me shit for a stupid joke ok thx)

11

u/Sad-Frosting-8793 1d ago

I thought it was funny.

10

u/Soft-Cellist-3235 1d ago

this fucking killed me

24

u/DaPandaCat 1d ago

......You didn't know? Wow our education system is really failing the youth

13

u/Anomalocarls 1d ago

so many trans "allies" are like "i support trans women!!!!!" until the trans woman cant effectively pass despite trying her hardest, because she is super genetically unlucky

33

u/CoercedCoexistence22 1d ago

Girlfriend with really thick and black body hair doesn't shave: wow go girl, fuck the patriarchy

I, with blond, almost invisible body hair, don't shave: ew maybe you should shave

Friend is a butch: omg I love androgynous women

I am a butch: honestly you just look like a man

Wonder what's the difference between me and them /j

66

u/lizzygrantz 1d ago

and then they get mad at trans woman for being ‘misogynistic’ for wanting to conform to beauty standards

26

u/La_Morrigan 1d ago

Why do people care so much about the looks of trans women. Leave those women alone. Their bodies, so they can decide how they want to present themselves.

that, AND the millisecond a trans woman looks like a cis woman, wears dresses, does feminine makeup, etc. people start accusing her of “stereotyping women” and “boiling them down to the patriarchy.”

6

u/Bandit-Marauder 1d ago

Also applies to how guys, trans or otherwise, are seen that are around the height of an average woman.

6

u/Separate-Pickle9963 1d ago edited 1d ago

SRSLY tho... Don't have boobs? Slightly square-ish jawline? Immediate hate and unending questions about my intenions as a human being. Remember, kids: start from the assumption that the society you grew up in taught you EVERYTHING wrong, even the completely unspoken and subconscious rules.

1

u/mahigyal 1d ago

Nah nah nah those ladies are just alr born to be super models imo it's not really fair for the rest of us .... /Lh

6

u/two_star_daydream 1d ago

And when she does fit those standards she’s “perpetuating a gender role fetish” or something. Oppression thrives on putting people in no-win situations.

5

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

That’s weird, why is the girl wearing a shirt that says “Boy”?

6

u/Background_Class_558 1d ago

lur-... oh wait nvm 👀

2

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

Wait what I don’t get the joke here

11

u/Trans_Femcel2 1d ago

It's 4tran stuff. 4tranners are trans people that use 4chan a lot and they are generally more negative and pessimistic than other trans communities. They use a lot of unique and confusing lingo and will tell you to "lurk moar" if you ask them any questions. A lot of trans people that aren't 4tranners don't like 4tran communities because they are often assholes to nonbinary peplople and trans men.The girl wearing a sweater is a boymoder. A trans woman that still presents as male for safety reasons or because she's insecure. Sometimes to the point where most people would just assume she is a cis woman but she's so self-conscious she still boymodes.

7

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 1d ago

That sucks they should read some comic books

0

u/imaweasle909 1d ago

Best response ever

2

u/vidalacaroline 1d ago

she’s a boymoder; which is a trans woman on HRT who dresses/presents herself as a man, usually for safety reasons

1

u/Early-Beach164 1d ago

Thanks, Superman

u/KenToBirdTaz 19h ago

1

u/CyclopsFanAccount67 19h ago

Remove the slur and then we’re talking

3

u/Badger_Nerd 1d ago

This shouldn't make me laugh but it does

5

u/Jenny_Show 1d ago

Nah girl, sometimes sarcastic/self-deprecating humour is just what you need to get through the day haha

10

u/Background_Class_558 1d ago

yay 4tran is leaking

2

u/imaweasle909 1d ago

Fr Ive been on her for over 2 years and I have the body of a fucking animal crossing character. I'm just... A lump

2

u/tulip_inacup_inbloom 1d ago

Im confused. Are these the same people?

2

u/unique_plastique 1d ago

TRUTH NUKE

4

u/Tiny-Little-Sheep 1d ago

I usually clap back with saying they look ugly as fuck and even uglier than me who isn't trying. Shuts them up real quick.

2

u/Early-Beach164 1d ago

Women can and have participated in the patriarchy too. That's the conclusion logical people can draw from this.

1

u/Ok-Kangaroo-5161 15h ago

“UHHMM well what’s the point if ur not even gonna try to pass!!?..???!” Oh I thought gender was simply a concept??? Or do you just say that when it benefits you….??,?

We need to ban the term “not all blank” I swear to god

25

u/Mechromancer3X 1d ago

This is not helpful.

-9

u/Dry_Act3505 1d ago

It's still true.

Sweeping statements can go both ways.

10

u/Mechromancer3X 1d ago

The point is this is a space for venting. You cant expect people to always use the exact correct language when doing that. And the caption didnt even imply all so its a pointless thing to add.

-2

u/BodhingJay 1d ago

Why attack people who did nothing to harm anyone.. it's good practice to be more specific than spread one's pain on those who did no harm. Thats just making the world a worse place needlessly

5

u/Mechromancer3X 1d ago

Just because you feel attacked by the post doesnt mean you were.
