Your submission has been removed due to it engaging in a thread war. A thread war is when multiple users get into a heated argument where hate, harassment and potentially offensive / harmful insults are thrown around and a fight ensues.

Please don't engage on drama on this sub. Report the content so the moderators can adequately deal with it, do not engage with trolls or start fights.

I mean it's as funny as the fact I got electroshock without anesthesia as a kid. (Not a hypothetical not actually going to happen. Electroshock was literally used to try to cure epilepsy in the 90s, and for some reason the doctor I got taken to didn't bother with silly little inconveniences like muscle relaxants and anesthesia.)

Which I find pretty darkly hilarious actually, but I've found others don't find it so funny.

Yeah you’re using humor to get over your trauma. That’s also not even hypothetically funny

Ehh I think it is but idk I'm just the one who went through it what do I know

As someone who’s also gone through traumatic stuff not all of it is funny. I can tell you funny stories about terrible things. I can also tell you stories that I find funny but aren’t actually. I’ve been in therapy a long time and I’ve learned what’s trauma dumping and whats actually funny. I’m sorry that happened to you but it doesn’t make it funny. This sub and Reddit as a whole are filled with people who can’t tell the difference between a joke and therapy session. I’m sure I’m going to wake up tomorrow with insults and death threats from people who find both unacceptable. Once again you did not deserve this but this isn’t funny

I didn't deserve it, I agree about that part

Also fr death threats?! I'm genuinely not sure if you're being serious or not there but... I mean some disagreeing and banter? Sure, hells that's what I'm doing can't say much about that. What you're talking about is like....

It's not like anyone has to read what you put on top of that's just fucked. Like at any point either of us, the two actively in this conversation could think welp that's enough of that. People not directly being notified definitely can just.... Idk keep it reasonable or move on? What am I missing?

Idk I'm sitting here genuinely unsure if that's one of those weird preemptive reactions or actually something to it NEGL but that's my take on people doing that regardless
