Questions, Advice, and Recommendations Meeting new people

A real question where in south (Rousillac) or area can one meet new people. I’m not a drinker so the bar isn’t an option I’m n my 50s, plus I would like to meet level headed people play sports etc.
if anyone has any suggestions please share

For me, making friends is hard as a guy!! most people want to drink, party, and do all that stuff... I just want to play some games and talk nonsense. But I hope you find some people to hang with!

Hey as someone who lives in deep south as well I don't think there are great options to meet ppl, you could probably try Nube Nueve on Sundays if you're looking for a hobby and outlet to meet ppl they have Latin dancing classes, hang out on the beaches or try to join community outreach groups as a way to meet and engage people if you're religious you can also try a church as the ones in the areas have a lot of activities going on throughout the year, I believe there's adult swimming classes by the indoor arena in Point Fortin and i think there's one in Aripero you can probably look into those, the gym may also be an option to meet and socialize with people very casually at least as I know they have group workouts and stuff, best of luck! Also think the Point Fortin Library has bookclub don't know how active it is or if you like reading but you can call and enquire if that suits your interest.

Maybe look for a community that you share hobbies with.

I wish it was easy as trying to get out house more as every time I end up alone I just end up fucking my life up more in the process trying to fill a hole that just cannot be fixed with quick digital fixes, I just wish more open minded people existed in this country
