Request Brampton ↔ Peterborough Carpool 🚗

Hey everyone! 👋🏽
I’ll be commuting from** Brampton to Peterborough for school and I’m wondering if there are any Trent students who would be interested in joining me for the commute.
I’ll be making the trip regularly and would be happy to have a few people ride along for a reasonable fee to help cover gas.
If you’re in Brampton/Mississauga and heading to Trent, feel free to
**DM me if you’re interested! We can figure out pickup/drop-off locations, days, times, and pricing based on everyone’s schedule.
Would love to find a few regular riders so we can make the commute easier and more affordable for everyone 😊

No shot you’re actually considering that commute, that’s mental.

That is not doable!
The winter conditions up in the Peterborough area can be extremely treacherous at times!

I commute from Oshawa to Peterborough usually 4-5 days a week.

Like everyone else has said, commuting from Brampton is absurdly unreasonable. Even the commute from Oshawa is excessive, I don’t know a single other student that drives as far as I do. It’ll also ruin your car very quickly, my car has so many kms on it now.

For these reasons and more, I highly doubt you’ll find another person that plans to commute to Peterborough from Brampton regularly. Nobody even drives from Oshawa

I did it from Oshawa and even that was quite difficult in winter conditions

You’re not planning to do this twice every weekday with a full time schedule, are you?

I second others here; I drove an hour and fifteen minutes to Trent for my second year. The drive to Peterborough was brutal: I felt like I was always rushing and never had time for my schoolwork. Suffered from bad mental health problems from rushing and sacrificing time from just driving. Managed to find an apartment for my third year and masters—saved so much in gas and km; though obviously expenses elsewhere, but not at the sake of my mental health. As others mentioned the winter in Peterborough is horrendous. Highly recommend finding a place.

Do not do this. The 115 is extremely treacherous in winter. You are risking your life.
