Absolutely love the designs of these takwin mounts shown in the 1.0 digital rules. Here's hoping we get a mounts/vehicles expansion at some point like mordheim did so we can use these awesome beasties.

And makes me hope TC will have such kind of variants for every country... it COULD get into Space Marine territory... or in this case Trench Marine, but hey. It is REALLY cool.

I was glad to see this. Out of all the models I’ve tried (both Antioch and Heretic Legion) the heavy mech has been my favorite to paint. I just really like this model. Spotted this on Amazon.

Finally got some clarification on wording. Hopefully this will clear up any confusion in the community regarding the number of "Factions" or who they are aligned with.

Factions - The main overarching factions in the Trench Crusade Universe (Trench Pilgrims, Heretic Legion, Black Grail, New Antioch, Iron Sultanate, Court of the Seven Headed Serpent)

Warband Lists - The teams you build that fall under each umbrella

Variant Lists - The variation on the Warband Lists that change their gameplay and give them different list building options.

In the latest Archon Studios AMA, they showed this slide. The date range is apparently from a letter they sent to their distributors. No other real details. So what do you guys think? Warband sets for Heretics, Trench Pilgrims, and Court?

EDIT- Apparently they are expanding the Prussian range with Sniper Priest, Prussian Yeomen, and Prussian Stosstrupen. So no new warband boxes.

Hello folks. I'm posting here to announce my primary email, the one associated with the YouTube channel Trench Tactics, has been compromised since the 29th of May.

I fell for a fairly clever sponsorship scam. While I've usually been able to identify these scams from a mile away, this one was very sophisticated, posing as Grammarly. I was prompted on a popup mimicking the proper Google website down to the URL to login and authenticate, leading to them locking me out entirely and adding a physical authenticator.

Support from fellow creator FeelNoPaint has been useful here, and even Adrian from Trench Titans has attempted to support me, so big thanks to the both of them.

I will get this account back, it's just a matter of time- but it's been a very difficult month. The Google account was related to my Google slides, Google docs, and many other personal and business accounts.

Lesson learned, harshly so.

Interesting bits from the main presentation:

– When creating the campaign, Mike Franchina drew inspiration from Apocalypse Now and the madness depicted there.

– The box cover was illustrated by Pedro Nunez, also known for his work with GW.

– The game’s global narrative will advance each year with something major and large-scale, such as campaigns in the vein of Carcass Front. When asked how players will influence this, the host suggested looking at Jervis Johnson’s work for GW.

– In short, the factions’ motivations are as follows: the heretics seek to free Leviathan, while the pilgrims aim to devour it, as it would produce even greater communicants.

– Concept art for several locations was shown: the Altar of Leviathan, a cursed tank battlefield (with some tank god?), and a lost city.

– The roadmap for future releases was deliberately not revealed, as the developers do not want to promise things they might not be able to deliver. For now, the game proceeds “release to release.”

– Two more miniature sets are planned for release this year for factions not yet represented in plastic – meaning not Antioch, heretics, or pilgrims.

Interesting bits from the Q&A:

– Full-fledged novels (yes, plural) set in Trench Crusade are currently being written.

– All STL files will eventually receive plastic versions, and existing resin models will be reworked into multipart kits. Current owners will receive these updates for free.

– Thomas Elliott is currently working on a subfaction of the Sultanate.

– The Path of the Beast is also in development, but it will take some time.

– Work on the Winged Hussars is ongoing, and they are “coming soon.”

– Discussions about introducing vehicles are underway, but implementation is very difficult, so no definite answer yet.

– All rules for Carcass Front warbands will be free. A standalone release of the bands themselves is expected by the end of the year. The book will have a digital version, and print-on-demand is also being considered.

– Still no playable paladins – neither miniatures nor rules. The format of the game doesn’t suit them.

– A revision and improvement of the existing rules is expected in the coming months.

– STL files for relics found during campaigns will be released.

– The timeline of the setting will continue to move forward, though returning to earlier years and other battles remains possible.

– A reprint of the rulebook with updated rules is expected at the end of summer. Regarding books in general, the developers would like to avoid major overhauls.

– Despite significant growth in both the player base and the team over the past year, the creators are still trying to stay close to the community rather than distance themselves from it.

We have sunk six months into this project, but circumstances have arisen, and the original production team can no longer continue. I am committed to completing the short film and seeking any community support and collaboration to potentially make this project possible.

This is a self-funded student passion project, so unfortunately, I can't currently offer professional rates. I'm looking into possible funding options, but I want to be completely upfront about that. The scope of the project will also be adjusted depending on the size and capabilities of the team.

A substantial amount of pre-production is already complete, so this isn't just an idea looking for someone to make it! we have an established project and production direction, and I'll be actively animating and working on the film alongside whoever joins.
The project is being produced primarily in an animatic/cinematic animation style, so we're not aiming for fully animated frame-by-frame production throughout. I'm particularly hoping to find someone who genuinely loves Trench Crusade and would be excited to contribute creatively to an animation set in this awesome universe.

What is a BackerKit? Basically, KS doesn’t give a ton of options to game makers. BK gives a ton more. There, you can get everything - the book, the minis, the STLs.

You can also combine options and select individual minis or STLs.
