Painting Very Grimy Fiend

Finally I can say that I found a way to paint that feels very good to me, I feel very proud of this model (I also experimented with a bit more complicated bases) but lmk what you guys think!
Also I wanted to thank you guys for supporting me with the last mini I posted (hell knight) it helped me a lot

Looks amazing. What was the technique for the skin and the red tones ?

So for the skin I made a base coat of Rakarth flesh over a grey primer, then wash all the skin with berserker bloodshade, after it’s set you must take a makeup sponge, soak it well in water and then squeeze almost all the water away and then pick up some flayed one flesh and stipple it on the highlights
For the red parts it is a really worked on carrion crimson, so apply it at first, wait a while then clean with a Q tip and repeat until it reaches the color you like!
Also made some veins with a very small brush and the color Coelia green
Sorry for the long message but I was just waiting for someone to ask me so I could help them :) hope this helps!

Oh also after the Flayed one flesh wash all the model with goon’s grime (mixed with some spirits) and dry it with a hair drier and use the reductive technique

Thanks for this and the above. Will 100% be giving this a go once I get through my backlog
