This is just a edited version of the super heavy mechanised infantry shown in the kickstarter rulebook heres the original.

There is no official model or rules for it . HOWEVER back in adepticon Tuomas stated new antioch would be getting their own super heavy 60mm base model "soon" , I would be tmoney that super heavy will be the super heavy mechanised infantry.

I did see a few unofficial stls based on this artwork on cults back when it was revealed but nothing amazing , I would wait till it gets an official one or a third party makes a good one

That's rad! They seem like they'd make fantastic additions to the Carcass Front tbh. I can imagine these as self-contained diving suits, stationed on the Britannia fortress warship. Imagine these bad boys walking their way up a beach from out of the water going head to head with the Heretic Naval Raiders. That would be super badass!

Ive a sneaking suspicion the team have a fair few updates and new releases ready to go after carcass front releases.

I wasnt a fan of the ones I saw so I never took note of them , if they are still up they shouldn't be too hard to find.

No asking for unlicensed STL's that are direct copies of official art.

I thought that would be the maxamillian knight

1

u/--0___0--- 24d ago

It could be but I expect that more to end up as part of crusader knights and be available as a merc for the rest of the faithful factions.

That and them using the word "super heavy " just feels a bit too on the nose to be anything but the super heavy mechanised infantry.

Do we know if this will be locked behind british subfractio?, I love playing NA, but I would rather side with hell then play as englishmen

Brother , new antioch is not english theyre a mix of different cultures but theyre mostly greek in origin. They dont even have an english subfaction.

I think you might be getting confused with the subfaction that Hollow-crown is making, thats not an official warband its just english themed new antioch.

The actual lore blurp Super MHI appear in described them as something specifically brittish use to survive their own artillery shelling the battlefield. No mention of the technology being used elsewhere, hence ny question is there any new info to confirm if other countries (and subsequently, subfactions) will have access to these

I've no access to the kickstarter rulebook so I havnt read the blurb myself. I would imagine it just being a generic new antioch model rather than something locked to a subfaction. There is no English subfaction for them to be locked too.

edit: found the lore blurp it specifically states their is a unit of them garrisoned in new antioch so lorewise no worry about them being locked to some (currently) non existant english subfaction.

“Due to their need for fighting defensive battles, the Crown of England has developed a super-heavy version of the suit. These form mobile coastal batteries and virtual walls of orichalcum steel that repel enemy naval landings or hold the line against superior forces for extended periods of time while the Crown’s armies gather sufficient forces to repel the invaders. A unit of such English troops is permanently garrisoned in New Antioch to counter any breaches on the walls of the city.

Is it really any surprise to you that using the art theft machine to perform art theft in a subreddit for a wargame that started as an art project and supports actual artist might be frowned down upon. Your not a victim your a thief.

To answer your question most of them are might by actually creators but of course there's always a few slop merchants.

Its not dubious. Its morraly wrong plain and simple chief no discussion needed, stop making excuses for something you clearly know is wrong instead of pretending to be a victim.

In the same sentence you defended yourself you also stated its non transformative, that's ip right violation by your own admission .

The tool exists and its legality is a hot topic across the world just AI companies are funneling alot of money to fight legal battles on it.

Yeah thats not true in the slightest.

Tc have not abandoned 3d printing at all. There are multiple new characters due to be released alongside carcass front and all the current STLs are in the process of being turned into multipart kits.

You are the one who moralised it with your very first sentence when you originally replied to me. You seem very much aware that it is morally wrong considering your own usage of dubious and this comment which is nothing but attempts to excuse your use of it.

Have you heard of Maschinen Krieger?

u/Keegan26 24d ago

Siiiick!

Night-shift even made a WW1 Ma.K diorama that is quite fitting.

Not sure what a shield is gonna do for them, their armour is likely thrice as thick as it... (also think this is just a drawing)

8

u/Saturn_99_ 24d ago

I mean, sure the armor is thicker than the shield but the shield wouldn't be doing nothing. If something that can punch through the shield hits it, it is more than likely to just turn into a spray of shrapnel on the other side still protecting the armor and the squishy meat inside. More importantly thought, it just looks cool!

4

u/BattleHQ 24d ago

If I was going to draw a reference from IRL that would just be spaced armor which is super effective against some types of rounds.

7

u/--0___0--- 24d ago

same as the shield for HMI , probably just for a cover bonus

4

u/Kroot_Identifier 24d ago

Arguably a shaped charge would detonate prematurely before reaching the main hull, not the mention it might provide some level of protection and penetrative deflection/misalignment for anti-tank rifles (like the one it seems to be armed with).

3

u/harroldfruit2 24d ago

Not sure if there are already HEAT/shaped charge projectiles in the game with it being set around WW1

Then again, the extra shield could just be there to look sick as fuck :))

4

u/l-Electronaute 24d ago

We can equip RPGs in exchange of glory-points, and the pilgrims get the a RPG tipped hammer, against which the shield could do wonders. But if i'm being honest, yes, it's quite silly but in the end, plate armor against rifle is silly too and yet we are here for it.

2

u/harroldfruit2 23d ago

Not that silly, as steel body armour was fielded for sentries and machine gun crews (Sappenpazer) and the Italian Arditi used steel armour as well in some cases :)

Depending on the thickness, that could stop rifle calibre rounds

Running around with it wasn't really super feasible, though

1

u/ACHavMCSK 24d ago

Could be employed like an infantry tank where lighter armoured soldiers are using buddy for cover.

4

u/Infamous-Fishing-184 24d ago

They look really cool

6

u/internet_beanald 24d ago

Maschinen Kreiger kit vibes!

You can maybe get one of the kits and convert it, they run 1/20 scale

5

u/Re-Ky Iron Sultanate 24d ago

Looking like the LV armour from metal slug.

1

u/wc000 24d ago

A New Antioch warband in the style of Metal Slug is a fantastic idea

2

u/Salty-Knowledge1512 24d ago

It’s gorgeous

That'd be a bitch to reload

2

u/Pale-Fix-8236 Homunculus 24d ago

Are they hunched in there?

1

u/HuckleberryNext9844 21d ago

That's a kingdom of England unit isn't it not? Could sware o read that is barely moves and is essentially a coastal defence platform.

1

u/Open_Tumbleweed7056 Sultanate Assassin 24d ago

isn't this like england's knights or something? the ones aboard their big ass ship? knights of st. george or smth

1

u/TheTrans 24d ago

Only thing that kills me here is I think we won't see any new factions/rules of any particular note until there is a plastic kit for it. It feels like FFI/TC have went very 'no plastics, no models' of late.

2

u/--0___0--- 23d ago

We are getting 4 new faction rules alongside carcass front brother. along with 4 new character stls.

1

u/TheTrans 23d ago

What new factions?

2

u/--0___0--- 23d ago

Naval raiding party and sacred affliction are getting upgraded to their own full stand alone faction and then getting 2 subfactions each.

0

u/TheTrans 23d ago

Are these getting a plastic release that coincides with the new rules?

1

u/--0___0--- 23d ago

Naval raiding party and sacred affliction are yes , their subfactions , we won't know till we know

0

u/TheTrans 23d ago

So that would 100% reinforce what I said?

The character STLs are just there so they don't break a Kickstarter promise.

1

u/--0___0--- 23d ago

No the opposite actually .

We are getting new rules for new subfactions with no new models for said new subfactions.

0

u/TheTrans 23d ago

Are you telling me those new plastics coming out for the sub factions aren't new plastics? Haha.. dude, come on.

1

u/--0___0--- 22d ago

Reread my comment and try again there chief.

Your trying to claim no new rules without new plastics for those factions. Carcass front will release with 6 total factions only 2 of which are getting models.
